I'm going to complain in this review, but it's mostly about the staying power of the game. It's great for 10-20 minutes, and it's free so you might as well have some fun for that duration. Beyond that, though, nothing really changes. It's easy enough to play for an infinite amount of time and get an infinite amount of points, as beyond a certain point there just is no longer any sort of threat of running out of resources nor room to expand. You will always have somewhere you can expand the homunculus. The energy spheres could provide an incentive to build in a certain way, but they just... don't really do anything? It's entirely acceptable (perhaps even optimal) to completely ignore them, and just thoughtlessly grow.
I'm not a game designer, but I really think there needs to be a way to shake things up as the game progresses. The game's simplicity is a large part of its charm, so I'm not sure exactly how you'd go about adding that; but right now, the game gets stale the first time you play and provides no reason to play again. I kept going for longer than I probably should have to hit 100K points, but about half of my playtime was quite mindless. I hope to see some changes in the future as there's some real potential here.
TL;DR Good fun for 10-20 minutes, and it's free so you might as well give it a shot.
