I really dislike leaving reviews where I have to go into the negative portion of things. This game started off weird in the sense that there's no menu button and if there is one, it isnt escape and theres no menu where you can see keybinds . I had to alt + f4 to close out of the game. I couldnt tell what to click on upon opening as theres no indicators whatsoever. You click on the monitor at the start, theres 3 icons you can click on in the top left and there's one on the bottom right. Silly me for assuming the bottom right icon was settings/menu cause the other icons weren't that at all. It exists the game btw. But you cannot exit when you're actively in the simulation or whatever you wanna call it. The top left icon is the sound one , which you'll need to know that when you open the game, its super loud and startling , so youre gonna wanna turn down the sound immediately.
Let's get into the game stuff now, I clicked on the easy mode cause I have yet to play this and i always start on easy.
1. You have to spam on the check boxes cause you cannot just single click them.
2. For an easy mode, the rooms are full of clutter. You're in an office space, the rooms have a lot going on in them and I've played other games involving pointing out anomolies, I really suggest checking out (I'm on Observation Duty), regardless if youre the dev or if youre just the consumer but that series is beginner friendly , and easy to follow. If you wanna take notes from that, please do .
3. You have to hold right click to look around in rooms, rooms that are filled with clutter already, theres more to the rooms. How are you supposed to remember where things are and such if so much is going on from the very start?
4. I disliked everything about this and I was hopeful to play it. Charging people to play this is wild when it feels insanely unfinished.
I love the idea, the concept, the initial direction of this game, but it isn't where I can even play a single play-through. I completely lost interest without finishing the first round. I tried and it felt like I was just sitting there forever doing nothing but looking around. It was boring to say the least. I'm not refunding as I'm hopeful that the devs see this and consider how it made me feel and think and maybe it'll be updated to where it can be enjoyable to play, once again I was hopeful and I still am but in its current state, it just feels bland and there definitely could be a chance the game can be better !
