A nice quick experience. Some (Nathan from Tumwater, Washington) may say, "Blink and You'll Miss it" but if you wanna be a real PAWG Slammer you'll get this game downloaded on your laptop and settle back in your local Rainforest Cafe for an unforgettable experience.
hello gamers! I always read feedback, comments, and reviews - so I've fixed a few things accordingly! Sound effects now 'clamp' and won't play too many at once, but there is some overlapping to show when many events happen at once. So, still fun - but doesn't feel busted! I also fixed some click / drag / highlighting issues that were bothering me - as I worked on extra content, I was touching old components, and that affected the base game. Speaking of - hey, weirdly, I have started to work on the actual Giant Bomb website! This game definitely played a role in that, I think. Just wanted to stop and say thanks to everyone who played it and helped give it a little spotlight. That really meant a lot. That said - working on the site means I'm doing a lot less game dev, so this has sort of slid to the back of the pile. On top of that, my day job has been WEIRD and it's a miracle I'm still employed; so I've also been job hunting (Right now, GB work is not a full-time role). If you need a React/Node guy you know where to find me ;) I hope to return to the third act of the game at some point - just to unmask it here, I have a working rogue like deck builder phase of the game. You take your deck of cards and a map of events is generated - battles, shops, all that stuff. You click and drag the pickle giraffe cards onto enemy cards to deal damage to them. It's so dumb, I love it - but I definitely keep bumping into "Is this actually fun?" And tuning and tweaking to that effect is what takes the most time. Anyway. Love ya, appreciate ya, and PLEEEAAASEE subscribe to Giant Bomb https://giantbomb.com/join - chuck
