“Raccoon Cocoon: A Cozy Puzzle Game” is exactly what the title promises: a 30-45 minutes of soft, stress-free puzzle break where a raccoon grandma cheers you on through 60 bite-sized levels. It’s a game made for pure relaxation: no timers, no penalties, no pressure, just simple, feel-good puzzles that anyone can enjoy.

Each level feels intuitive, a bit like A Little to the Left, with cozy music and calm visuals. You can use hints freely (they show the full solution though) without worrying about losing achievements. It’s mouse-only and completely wordless, which makes it accessible for all ages and languages, but a couple of puzzles rely on color, so a daltonian mode would’ve been a great addition.

That said, don’t expect much challenge. It’s extremely easy, almost meditative, which can be a pro or a con depending on your mood. The puzzle navigation on the main menu could be smoother, and Grandma Raccoon’s flashy “well done!” appearance after every level gets repetitive and might bother sensitive players. Still, it’s hard not to smile at the cuteness of it all.

Overall, this game is the digital equivalent of a warm blanket and a cup of camomile tea. It won’t twist your brain into knots, but it will absolutely untangle your nerves. Perfect for a short, cozy gaming session when all you want is to unwind.

The first project by a two-person indie studio, Raccoon Cocoon is an über-cozy pixel art puzzle game starring a bespectacled grandma raccoon and her knitting. So, basically my spirit animal.

The sixty (60) levels provide a nice assortment of organizing and sorting games, pattern recognition, and tiny jigsaw puzzles, all with quaint domestic themes or adorable trash pandas. If you've played A Little to the Left or attempted to impose order on your kitchen junk drawer, then the puzzles will generally feel familiar and intuitive; however, each level has a single "hint" to nudge you in the right direction if needed. It took me ~45 minutes to 100%, including time wasted on silly assumptions but not including time lost to a bug that prevented levels from clearing (solved by closing and re-opening the game).

Kekik in the Bag was kind enough to provide a key in exchange for an honest review, and honestly, Raccoon Cocoon was exactly what I needed today: calm music, colorful art, and short puzzles that didn't require too much brain-work. If you enjoy organizing puzzles and need a quick injection of cozy relaxation, then I highly recommend checking this out.

There are 60 levels waiting for you, where you get to organize stuff and solve small jigsaw puzzles with adorable raccoons!🦝 (i know, I mean… what is there not to like?) Nothing in the game is difficult, or brainy-workout, but completing them still feels very satisfying! This game is for sure perfect when you just want a cozy, relaxing hour to kill.
