New, hot hot!Hey there koala fans, animal lovers and enjoyers of hand-drawn games! We've been a bit silent lately, which only means we're working hard! Although we're working on many features and content that will come in the full game, we've also been working on updating the playtest, so the game can be checked out with even more features and content.So what's new in this version (a brief summary):Completely new level - tutorial level. Now you don't have to click on boring tutorial slides at the beginning - you can play a neat little level that has it all explained, and look at more adorable koalas, at an even higher close-up view. This also covers the very first part of the story as well.Level 01 has even more koalas! Almost double the amount of koalas that might appear, completely new dialogue lines and bigger changes between difficulties.HUD changes, fixes, tweaks... Along with MANY backend changes which will make the game run even faster, and will mean quicker updates in the future for you.We're looking forward to very near updates that will come soon! In the meantime, enjoy the rest of the summer, there's not much left :)...And a special shoutout to another fun content creator, Missy Spooks, who covered the game. Open playtest is now... open!It will remain open for some time, probably until the demo is released and it reaches the gold version - so this is a limited time window for anyone to test the game and provide feedback and suggestions!We've already made adjustments to the game since it was last played at a live event, few weeks back. Almost the end of the week and here's a bit of news as well! Expo GamersFirst off - GameGlis team will be attending Expo Gamers tomorrow & on Saturday (29th & 30th May 2026) and we'll have our own booth. Anyone who comes will be able to play the latest version of the game, so be sure to drop by if you're nearby :)Progress updateNext, we consider the first level of the game to be complete, and currently working on the rest. We highly appreciate all player feedback gathered at the last live event - we hear you and are working hard on making the game great! Examples here have ranged from koala colors on level 1 to higher difficulty modes being even more challenging.
