It's a fun, short game that doesn't wear out its welcome. The core gameplay loop does start to get a little repetitive by the time you unlock everything in the tree and get to endless mode, but at that point you're basically done anyway.
I enjoyed running around and filling the world with plants and trees and flowers. Unlocking the tree was satisfying. It's not a complex game, but it scratches an itch in an enjoyable way.
I found the core loop satisfying: run around - plant grass - gather flowers - buy upgrades.
Even at the highest difficulty it's not a particularly complicated or difficult game; my kids watched me play and wondered what was fun about it but I enjoyed my afternoon playing it. Sometimes I don't need a complicated and difficult game and this was just the thing for me today. :)
I had a really good time playing this — the gameplay feels smooth, it looks great, and it's clear a lot of effort went into it. That said, it does feel a bit short or like something’s missing. Hoping the devs add more in future updates because the potential is definitely there. Still worth checking out if you're into games like this!
