I like the concept of this game, and kinda enjoyed playing the mini games through, but when I went to return and continue reviewing the Kana, it seems like the game doesn't save any progress? I was a bit confused as to the 'story mode' VS mini games, as it seems the whole game is the minigames. Although - the store page doesn't mention anything further, but the phrase 'Story Mode' is a bit of a misnomer. I also was very let down when I checked the store page to see the artist credits and saw the game uses AI generated content.

All in all, this has a wonderful concept that could be so much better fleshed out. I can't really recommend it, though I do hope the team will put in the effort to get the cons list shorter. And please Devs, hire artists instead of just throwing together some themed AI content.

Pros:
- Cute dogs (although I think those look more like Corgis than Shiba Inus?)
- Nice repetition styles for learning
- Fun music (although settings to control the volume/turn the music off would be amazing)
- The 'Trophy Room' encourages the completionist streak in gamers
- Cheap price

Cons:
- AI ARTWORK - not cool, devs.
- No saving mechanic in the timeframe I was testing the game, so each time you open the game you have to run through the intro again (and boy do those pups yap).
- No 'Story' in the story mode, just the mini games from the main menu.
- Music gets abruptly cut when you navigate through the menus/into the mini games, which is pretty jarring.
- One of the two games can be pretty grueling to get through each Kana, as it takes A WHILE to finish each one.
- Not much here, honestly
