Widle

This is just a little project I'm working on in my spare time and having fun with it. I had the main build done, so I figured if anyone was interested in checking it out, they could.For anyone who doesn't know, Widle is a cozy 2D pixel-art idle simulation where you tend a tiny desktop planter, watch your plant grow over time, and use earned coins to unlock new species and decorative pot skins.I plan on adding a bunch of things soon, such as animations to the items you can buy, a ton more items, Steam achievements, audio, music, and honestly anything else I can look into for suggestions. I'll be posting updates here on Steam as I add things, so keep an eye out.If you're a musician or audio creator and want your music featured in the game, feel free to send it my way. Thank you so much to everyone who checked out the demo and added Widle to their wishlist. It genuinely means a lot to me, especially as a solo developer working on this in my spare time. These past few days I've been focused on cleaning up the demo and optimizing the game for full release, making sure everything runs smoothly and feels polished before it gets into more hands.I'm also continuing to expand the range of items in the game, adding new electronics, animals, and foods for you to discover and collect. Once I get everything designed and added, my plan is to start bringing these items to life with animations. From there, I'm hoping to move into things like floor items, different lighting options for items, and maybe even more beyond that.For now though, it's steady chugging away at the art. I'm not a trained pixel artist, I actually just started learning pixel art while making this game, and since it's just me working on this whole project, I'm taking my time and making the best of what I can.I hope you enjoy what's coming!

Hey everyone,The Widle demo is almost here.This is an early look at the game and a chance to try out what I have been working on so far. You will be able to check out the core gameplay, grow some plants, and get a feel of Widle.This is still an early version and there is a lot more planned for the full game.
