Tower Lords tasks you with building and upgrading a tower while defending against increasingly difficult enemies, powered by a dragon's abilities. The incremental progression loop drives expansion across new lands, though players report balance issues, unclear mechanics, and interface clutter that detract from the experience. Best suited for idle game fans with patience for rough-around-the-edges releases.

I beat it faster than the game it's copying (Tower Wizard) and it wasn't nearly as much fun. Prettier, though.

The balance feels incredibly off, maybe there's mechanics I'm supposed to be using that weren't well explained. Gameplay and text bugs all over, things not working after the first time or requiring multiple clicks to activate. It's cheap enough that I'm not mad about all that, if there was a middle option I'd pick that, but if we're going Yes or No then it's a no from me. Hopefully it improves in future updates, if it does I will replay and update my review.

It's just kind of a mess right now. Game was delayed twice that I'm aware of and they shouldn't have rushed it. Backgrounds are pretty but the interface looks crammed in and cluttered. Just needed more time in the oven. Might keep the game and see how it goes but may just pass given how unpolished it feels.
