Tap Tap Loot turns your keyboard and mouse activity into a clicker progression system, rewarding real-world typing and clicking with loot drops and character leveling. Your cute pixel cat hero grows stronger as you work or play, and you can race friends in shared lobbies for added motivation. It's designed as a persistent desktop companion—minimal engagement required, perfect for those who want idle rewards flowing from their natural computing habits.

+ Cute pixel art

+- Even after the recent patch, there's still a RAM leak and starts to lag after a long period of play. No crashes found (yet). More optimized than its predecessor, Bongo Cat
+- Easy to automate the process with any autoclicker/macro on your mouse/keyboard. At least, after 1.0.30 patch, you can't click faster than the certain interval between clicks, which is the right step to do
- No stat leveling. No in-game store to purchase items. Your coins, aside for upgrading your gear, have no value
- All dropped gear have predetermined stats, no variety of upgrade options
- Poor skins variety, being the copy of in-game items and serving only as a pretext for earning achievements for completing your collection, excluding skins of your own character
- As in many RPG games, Crit and Lifesteal mechanics are OP. Gear with high Crit Chance and Lifesteal, along with Backstabber and Dash spells, will carry you through the entire game. There are no stats cap.
- Your drop chance is not based on the stage you're in, but on your current character's level. After reaching 1000 lvl, your drop chance will cap, and completing stages will become pointless
- Wishlisting, following and purchasing this game will grant you items in Bongo Cat that increase your stats when equipped, and requires you to run both Bongo Cat and Tap Tap Loot, affecting game's balance and artificially increasing playtime
- Should've been a Idler, not a Clicker

Played a lot of the demo and enjoyed it as it's a fun little desktop buddy to watch as you work or play at your pc. I got into the game after needing some motivation to get typing again as I play in several online TTRPG groups and felt it would encourage me to participate more, in which it has, and the other members of my TTRPG group play in the same lobby so we often 'race' each other. The multiplayer is very barebones, at least in its current state, but seeing others kinda helps the motivation to keep tapping =p

Overall, it does what it needs to and with a little more depth than the usual "number go up" buddies as you have various equipment and builds to play around with.

[Review was updated following update from the developer. review was previously negative after not disclosing that one of the in-game bonuses required purchasing a paid DLC from a different game. This bonus has since been removed. Developer was very reasonable about the feedback]

This game is similar to Bongo Cat (same developer), that when you click your mouse or type on your keyboard, it contributes to the amount of "Taps" you collect. For Bongo Cat, it was "Bongo Beats".

The game or app, can stay at one corner of your screen, while you do your work, surf the internet or play some games, all which your clicks and typing will add to the Taps and level up your Cat as it goes on to fight enemies.

It's cute enough that when you get some drops, it changes your cat's appearance and also the weapon it holds.

However, this isn't for me. Tap Tap Loot and Bongo Cat may be cute, having a cat at the corner of your screen, but after a while, you don't want something there on your screen all the time.

And I would like to add that, if you are an achievement hunter and completionist, this will not be for you as well!

Here's why.....

Having previously played Bongo Cats (again, same developer and it also has in-game market items) and finishing the earlier achievements of 1 million Bongo Beats (which took 5 months), the developer later added new ridiculous and unreasonable achievements to prolong the game, hoping for its player base to stay longer and for completionists to come back, and that some may buy more of those market items. Adding new achievements, if it's easily achievable, isn't too bad but one of those is 25 million Bongo Beats!!!

It was claimed that the "majority" voted yes to add new achievements. However, that voting activity happened on Discord. Regardless of vote outcome, 25 million Bongo Beats is way too ridiculous!

And on Tap Tap Loot, the highest amount of "Taps" you need at the current moment is 1 million (just like Bongo Beats before).

Now imagine if that was raised to 25 million..... or more.
