TL;DR: Worth the $4 without a doubt, but as of right now there is a lack of content and no character / decoration creator.
Great game with some issues, but at $4 it's well worth it.
Despite the tutorials and tips, the UI is frustratingly difficult to navigate at times. There isn't a lot of content yet, although more is planned such as steam workshop support alongside a character creator. While the price is well worth it, but keep in mind that there isn't a whole lot here just yet (feels like maybe it should be Early Access?).
Presently, you get 7 characters to choose from: A tabby cat, 3 different anime cat-girls (each with varying personalities, a shiba inu (dog), a trio of kittens who count as one character (they don't have animations for keypresses however), and a robot cat-person-thing. You unlock all of these characters from the start, at least I did for some reason, and each character has different idle animations when not typing for a short while.
There are quite a few decorations, although at the start you only have access to a few. After leveling up to certain milestones you unlock more. Unfortunately, creating your own decorations doesn't seem to be in the game yet despite the games description claiming you can do this now. It isn't a huge issue as I'm sure it'll be added soon and there are already a little over 200 decorations to choose from (unless I counted wrong) with more planned in the future.
There are 3 types of keyboards to choose from: Square keys, circular keys, or cat themed keyboard. The latter is especially unique as it has little cat ears on the keyboard itself, while the other two are different only in terms of the keys on the keyboard. The rest of the customization options here are overwhelming in the best way. It's absurd how much you can change about your character's keyboard, and I haven't seen customization like this anywhere else. Whoever designed the keyboard customizations deserves a raise, I'm still discovering new things to customize.
For $4 that's a huge amount of content, but with what the store page advertises it feels a bit shallow. I don't regret my purchase at all however, this has instantly become something I'll keep on my desktop alongside Ropuka's Idle Island (check that out if you enjoy big numbers and PS2 graphics). Even if you're only wanting to pick this up for the ability to create your own decorations and characters, you should get it now anyways. The developers put a lot of hard work into this and it really shows, $4 feels like a massive discount on it's own.
