A cute hidden object game meshed with puzzle elements that will appeal more to the younger gaming crowd.

Gameplay & Settings

This adorable cat game has 20 levels to offer but they are played in progression (so unlocking one after the other).

How many cats you need to find is in the top left hand corner, hints in the top right. There are some levels with puzzles (like finding a key to fit into a lock). Not overly challenging but perfect for younger gamers that adds an extra layer. The maps range from finding 6 cats to 1 with more puzzle based maps near the second half of the game.

Things to note…

🔹 The game autosaves.

🔹I found no way to exit to the main menu upon leaving the game. I just closed my game window.

🔹After the ending message wait a few moments for the game to go back to the main menu and the last achievement will pop.

Settings

Settings & extras include; the only settings are audio controls. So if you want to resize your game in windowed mode here is the directions below.

If you wish to put your game into windowed mode, put -screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080 (or a resolution of your choice) under properties in the games Steam library page under launch options and relaunch the game. Then after relaunch just hit alt+enter for it to resize if needed.

Overall Experience

This game is very wholesome and I believe it will appeal to younger gamers more than those looking for a greater challenge. The achievements are very easy to obtain and the puzzles mixed in with the seek-and-find elements are a nice touch.🐱

Kitty Finder is a short and cheerful hidden object game with 20 levels, completable in around 30 minutes. In each level you hunt down a handful of hidden cats. Some are tucked behind draggable objects like books or plant pots. Others require solving a small puzzle to lure them out, for example, arranging items by size or filling food bowls in the correct order as indicated by the environmental clues. Nothing is particularly challenging, but the puzzles have just enough variety to keep things fresh.

The drag-and-drop controls work well for the most part, though they get a little clunky when you need to stack objects on top of each other. A hint system with unlimited uses helps you spot whichever cat you haven't found yet, so no one gets stuck.

The art style is bright and colorful, which gives the game a very positive vibe. It’s potentially aimed at children, but genuinely pleasant for adults too. The developers have mentioned plans to expand the experience, either through additional levels or a follow-up game in the same style.

At its current length (around 30 minutes of playtime), it's more of a light snack than a full meal, but a very charming one.

Finally got some time to slow down on Saturday morning and finish the game. ☕🐱 It’s a super cute, cozy hidden-object puzzle game where you just go around finding adorable cats . At the beginning, everything feels really easy and relaxing. The first few levels are super straightforward, and the cats are pretty easy to spot. But as I kept playing, it slowly started to get more interesting. Instead of just spotting cats right away, I actually had to stop and think about what I was doing. Some levels require you to find a key, move objects around, figure out the right order of actions, or carefully interact with the environment to unlock hidden areas and reveal the cats. The hint button doesn’t just give everything away. It only points you in the general area of where the cat is, but you still need to figure out how to get it to appear yourself.
