Fishing Inc is a low-stakes incremental about catching fish across different ponds to earn currency and unlock upgrades. The core loop involves clicking to catch, watching automated progress, and purchasing skill improvements that gradually expand your fishing capabilities. It appeals to players seeking a relaxing, visually appealing experience with minimal complexity, though some find the upgrade systems lack meaningful progression depth.

Been playing a ton of incrementals recently, and this one ranks among the most boring.
It's charming and has good style, but the systems never evolve or add new mechanics.
Wait - React - Autoclick. That's it for three hours (and that's after taking the extra time to get the rest of the trophies). None of the branches of the upgrades feel like you make any meaning decisions on how best to advance, boiling down to "just buy whatever you can afford, it doesn't really matter".
It was *fine* for three bucks, but it almost overstayed its welcome even with it's short runtime.

Incredible gem at a more than reasonable price. Super cool experience for all ages, I have been using the game as a fun way to teach my son about different types of fish and he loves it! Well worth the price.

This game is an incarnation of padding.
I enjoyed the demo and was hoping for an improvement of the demo / continuation with more engaging upgrades and functionality.
Sadly upgrades seem to be doing pretty much nothing at all and are just tiny percentages, while being described (upgrade names) as the ultimate upgrades.

The way it is released this game is unfortunately a do not buy.

Graphics are neat, audio ends up very monotonous after some time, gameplay is just bad.

Fishing Inc - Steam Cloud Beta Test

We're in the final steps of getting Steam Cloud shipped! Since we haven't had a chance to test it on Steam Deck yet, we have opened a public beta branch first rather than pushing the update out to everyone. To help us test the new save system, you can opt in to the beta branch by: Right-Clicking Fishing Inc in your Steam Library -> Properties -> Game Versions & Betas -> Select "SteamCloudBeta"If you run into any issues, please let us know on the Discord. And if it works fine for you, that's also really helpful to hear. After confirming the save system works great for everyone, we will push this to the main branch. As we can't currently test this on Steam Deck. If any Steam Deck players are willing to share feedback that would be a massive help.- Big Bonk Studio :)
