Interesting concept. I've enjoyed idling with it so far. I'm looking forward to future updates!
I'd like to see some additional explanations in game. For instance, what firmwares can I unlock, how much do they cost? I can see that there are three coming up but no clue what they are or what their cost is. It's just greyed out and hover gives no info.
Also some sort of indication before resetting progress. It'd be nice to be able to do the math on whether to take the reward now, or wait for a larger reward.
The Localization Update - v1.2.0Changes:Localization System Enabled. I have been working on this alongside the other patches, and didn't want to release it until it was ready, but Closed Circuit: Recursive Idle now supports 11 languages! Including:EnglishFrenchGermanJapaneseKoreanPolishPortuguese (Br)RussianSimplified ChineseTraditional ChineseSpanishUI Scaling. You can now scale the UI up and down a bit to better fit your screen. Fixes:Tooltip information will update now as you move the nodes, instead of only updating once you move your mouse off of, and then back onto the node. The Everslide theme now has been reworked in multiple ways. The background has been made easier to read, the colors of the nodes have been updated in the same way. Certain UI elements that were not visible using this theme now should be.Various miscellanous fixes.I hope you all enjoy! The game will give you a one time prompt for language, even if you have played before. And then later you can adjust via the settings menu.
The Onboarding Update - v1.1.0Changes:Tutorial System Implemented. Hopefully this helps better act as a guide for new and returning players. If you are running a fresh save, you will automatically be walked through the tutorial. If you are returning, there is a menu option that will allow you to go through it. Codex window added. Adds more information about unlocked nodes, mechanics, achievements, and more. Mostly just a helpful resource if you want to know more about how things work.Daily challenges added. They are a growing set of small daily tasks you can do in order to earn a new meta currency, which leads us to:Personalization Menu. A new menu that allows you to spend the currency gained from the daily tasks in order to get new color schemes for your system. It's small for now, but its a new way to personalize your system a bit. Over time, I will be adding more themes here, and eventually I would like to expand it to allow for more robust customization options. I hope you all like this small customization feature. Two New Achievements!Fixes:Boot Loop Toggle now properly appears once purchased in Firmware menu.Gain Rate is now displaying properly.Future Plans:As it stands, I will be using the "v.1.1.X" series of updates for expanding, reworking, or adding QOL features for existing content. My goal is to take the existing game to the next level, before moving on to adding some post-game content. I have ideas for how to expand the game past the Singularity stage, but I feel like for the time being refining the existing sytems would lead to a better experience overall. For example: this patch, v1.1.0 has a heavy focus on the onboarding process, and giving players more to strive for in the early game. Next, v1.1.5 will focus heavily on a rework of the firmware tree as it exists. Your skills should stay intact, but the plan is to update the visuals to a more refined and thematically appropriate state, as well as adding various QOL features to make using the firmware ...
Hotfix 4 - v1.0.6.1Changes:After research and much consideration, I found a solution that is much safer memory wise, has higher upper limits (far above a Googol). Your numbers technically will not change, a conversion will take place upon loading the game if save contains old values, however the counting system will be different. This change should address effectively every number I can imagine anyone would hit in this game. If you run into any issues, please let me know so I can address. But, with my testing so far I have found no negatives effects of this change.Here is the new counting system in its entirety (no suffix) = 1K = 1 Thousand (10³)M = 1 Million (10⁶)B = 1 Billion (10⁹)T = 1 Trillion (10¹²)Qa = 1 Quadrillion (10¹⁵)Qi = 1 Quintillion (10¹⁸) \Sx = 1 Sextillion (10²¹)Sp = 1 Septillion (10²⁴)Oc = 1 Octillion (10²⁷)No = 1 Nonillion (10³⁰)Dc = 1 Decillion (10³³)UDc = 1 Undecillion (10³⁶)DDc = 1 Duodecillion (10³⁹)TDc = 1 Tredecillion (10⁴²)QaDc = 1 Quattuordecillion (10⁴⁵)QiDc = 1 Quindecillion (10⁴⁸)SxDc = 1 Sexdecillion (10⁵¹)SpDc = 1 Septendecillion (10⁵⁴)OcDc = 1 Octodecillion (10⁵⁷)NoDc = 1 Novemdecillion (10⁶⁰)Vg = 1 Vigintillion (10⁶³)UVg = 1 Unvigintillion (10⁶⁶)DVg = 1 Duovigintillion (10⁶⁹)TVg = 1 Trevigintillion (10⁷²)QaVg = 1 Quattuorvigintillion (10⁷⁵)QiVg = 1 Quinvigintillion (10⁷⁸)SxVg = 1 Sexvigintillion (10⁸¹)SpVg = 1 Septenvigintillion (10⁸⁴)OcVg = 1 Octovigintillion (10⁸⁷)NoVg = 1 Novemvigintillion (10⁹⁰)Tg = 1 Trigintillion (10⁹³)UTg = 1 Untrigintillion (10⁹⁶)DTg = 1 Duotrigintillion (10⁹⁹)\TTg = 1 Tretrigintillion (10¹⁰²)QaTg = 1 Quattuortrigintillion (10¹⁰⁵)QiTg = 1 Quintrigintillion (10¹⁰⁸)SxTg = 1 Sextrigintillion (10¹¹¹)SpTg = 1 Septentrigintillion (10¹¹⁴)OcTg = 1 Octotrigintillion (10¹¹⁷)NoTg = 1 Novemtrigintillion (10¹²⁰)Qag = 1 Quadragintillion (10¹²³)Qig = 1 Unquadragintillion (10¹²⁶)Sxg = 1 Duoquadragintillion (10¹²⁹)Spg = 1 Trequadragintillion (10¹³²)Ocg = 1 Quattuorquadragintillion (10¹³⁵)Nog = 1 Quinquadragintillion (10¹³⁸)C ...
