TL:DR : Good game, and there is yuri so play it, just do it.

First, when it comes to the game in itself, it's on a whole really nice, albeit a bit short. The progression feels great on a whole, not too slow nor too fast. You get some new mechanics/buildings here and there alongside the story. Only slight problem would be that sometimes you end up with enough ressources to go for the next part, but have to reset for story reasons without being able to push for one more point or similar. The deep space buffs (relics and crystals) also feel a bit underwhelming to be honest, especially compared to the huge amount of ressources the first time exploration of nodes are. But globally, pretty chill and enjoyable short game.
The mechanics when it comes to crafting are quite original, and while it might not be everyone's cup of tea, they can be skipped with other alternatives, so it's fine either way. The soundtrack fits the theme and artstyle pretty well, it's also very chill so yeah, it cool.

Now, about the part I wasn't expecting, but I certainly won't complain : on top of being an incremental, this game is a yuri, and it's quite good even. The small interactions between the characters are very fun and very gay, which is great. And the thing I was expecting the least but made my day, that kiss at the end, lovely.

So all in all, I came for the incremental, I got the yuri as a bonus, awesome game on all points, just play it. And for the price, it's totally worth, short but you won't regret it.

Despite its name, Angel Clicker is not quite a clicker. Rather, it's an incremental game where you assign cherub workers to gather resources, use those resources to construct production buildings that yield new resource types, and then craft artifacts from those to boost your progress. Unlike a traditional clicker, there's no need for an autoclicker: your workers handle that automatically. You simply place them at whatever station you need. This introduces a light management layer, as you'll need to balance your workforce across multiple stations, though the game strictly keeps this from growing too complex, staying true to its pick-up-and-play philosophy. In addition, a manual gathering mechanic where you hold down left click also exists, but it's not really useful in the long term.

Buildings have their own mechanics, and they sustain each other through the resources they produce, though the overall production chain remains linear and straightforward. Complementing this are two small optional rhythm minigames, both of which provide production boosts. The first is a simple metronome game with a tapping mechanic: click the mouse button in a steady rhythm, and as long as you maintain the beat, your production speed gets a significant boost. The second, used for creating artifacts, is more classic: two types of notes fall from the top (mapped to the left and right mouse buttons), and you must hit each one with the correct button as it reaches the bottom. If you'd rather focus on other things, you can assign workers to handle this minigame for you, while the other one can be turned off completely if you wish.

Angel Clicker is a story-driven game, which is rather peculiar for a clicker (not a clicker). You play as Legion, an angel architect competing against Lucifer in a contest for who manages to siphon the most souls. And yes, it's an enemies-to-lovers yuri story, with fun and catchy writing. The narrative also drives the gameplay loop: each prestige cycle advances the plot in a distinct way, slightly shifting its direction, without repeating the bits you've seen before. New buildings and mechanics unlock with each run, but don't worry, the game is designed around only a handful of prestige loops rather than endless grinding. Notable are also the gorgeous pixel-art graphics and cute little animations.

Overall, Angel Clicker is a short but well-paced incremental game with a rewarding progression curve and a story worth following to the end. It's a game that requires your full attention and engagement during the 3-5h of gameplay; it's not meant to be played as an idler.

The art style of the game is so cute, and the chosen color palette really plays into the relaxing nature of the game. While the game is short, it was a joy from start to finish. I loved the writing, was bought in with the characters from the very start, and the rekindling flame between our protag, and Luce was heartwarming.

Gameplay was pretty simple, could have a little more variance in what you have to manage but it was not enough to take any joy away from the relaxing game. Also the art is done by human hands, no gen aI involved, and we support human grown artistic talent in this house.

All in all, game was like 5-7 hours, i spend a lot of time with it open while doing chores stretching my time further. anyways, if your looking for a cute, short, relaxing game with a touch of Yuri (yes please), then i highly recommend the game <3
