Desktop Aquarium is a cozy idle game where you maintain a small tank in your desktop corner, collecting fish and upgrading their habitats. You'll need to manage feeding schedules and gather resources from periodic pop-ups, balancing active play with idle downtime. It's best suited for players seeking a low-stress, decorative experience who don't mind occasional attention to keep their fish alive.

I originally left a pretty positive review on this game but I have deleted that review and am changing it to a medium review. I do find the game very cozy and cute, but nowhere in the description or lack of tutorial, did it inform me that my fish would die if I afk to go watch a movie for a couple of hours. I purchased the auto feeder and assumed that would include auto grabbing the pop-up for more food (which hardly shows up much at all) but that is not the case. There is also nowhere in the shop to purchase more food. I would have expected an idle game to not require me to keep an eye on it in order to collect food for my fish.
Please implement a way to purchase more food, or increase the spawn rate for the food pop-up. Aside from that ridiculous feature of the game, everything else is great.

Very cute and fun game, only thing that may need to be added is letting the player know that fish will ask when they need food, so don't spam at the beginning, and also that food can only be obtained from a pop up that gives you free food every so often

Likes: Love the game itself! Played the demo a bunch as well. Thoroughly enjoyed it! If you're into desktop games as much as I am, you'll absolutely enjoy this game! I highly recommend it!

Dislikes: Nothing to dislike, honestly!

What I would like to see in the future if possible: Would love to see a setting to have the option of having the game either always on top or not. Right now, it's always on top, but I would like to see a setting for this. Would love to be able to name my fishes as well. How cute would that be?

5/5 Stars for me!
