Idle & Incremental Lovers doesn't recommend DataFall:
Soundtrack is a banger, neon color palette is beautiful. Sadly, it fails gameplay-wise. You can favor a playstyle (idler or clicker), but it's in both cases a repetitive grind with boring upgrades.+ As mentioned, soundtrack and color palette are great (so I really wanted to like it, but I couldn't).
- Upgrades, both in the prestige system and on the market, are purely of the "numbers go up" type. There is absolutely no change in gameplay through the whole game.
- You're supposed to get 3 exciting new stuff after 3 prestige milestones, but they (relic forge, black market and paragon lab) are disappointing and uninspired.
- Pacing is too slow.
- I pushed to the last prestige milestone, hoping for something big to happen, but it falled flat. There is no ending, the grind goes unrewarded.
