The pre-release demo keys are rolling out! (yay 🥳) If you encounter a “Failed to load il2cpp” error and the game won’t start, this only affects some Windows 11 PCs with Smart App Control turned on. Please try the following steps:1. Reinstall the demo. Uninstall the demo through Steam, then reinstall it and try launching the game again (fixed it for one player).2. If the game still won't start, try the following: Turn off Smart App Control. Please note: Turning off Smart App Control reduces Windows protection against potentially untrusted apps.Type Smart App Control into the Windows Search (taskbar or Start menu).Open Smart App Control and switch the setting to Off.Restart your PC, then try launching the demo again.If neither of these steps solves the problem, please reach out and let me know (michael \ miorama.games)!I'm a solo developer, and if this turns out to be a widespread issue, I may need to invest in a paid code-signing certificate.
