Immunica merges mouse-based action combat with incremental management—hover your cursor to destroy pathogens while building out a research lab, recruiting scientists, and advancing toward vaccine development. Weapons fire automatically as hordes attack, letting you balance active play with passive progression through skill trees and upgrades. It's accessible enough for newcomers but may feel grindy for veterans seeking deeper strategic variety.

Discovered the game because of PolishOurPrices.
Tutorial is too much text at once but the game is super intuitive and easy to get into so it's not a problem.
There is not enough time to read effect descriptions at the start of the round, but not reading them does not really hurt experience of the game.

But to leave it all with good taste, it's super addictive, easy to get into and the rounds are quick. Good both for 1 hour and 1 minute of playing.

Idle & Incremental Lovers recommends Immunica, but with caution :
Immunica does a lot of things right and is an OK game in its genre. Gameplay is basic, but fun and active. Slow-paced progression and lack in upgrades variety make it feel too grindy, though.
Also noteworthy
* 4 skill well organized skill trees, but very repetitive and a lot of pure "number go up" repetitive upgrades.
* The research lab adds a small layer of gameplay, as well as a prestige system.
* Dev responded to player criticism by rebalancing the entire game (it was nearly impossible to beat at first), which is great.
* The game overstays its welcome, endgame felt like an unncessary grind.
Why didn't the biochemist laugh at antibody jokes? Cause he was humorally immune.

Massive Balance Overhaul: The True Incremental Experience!

Hello! Thank you so much for playing Immunica and leaving your reviews. I have read your feedback carefully, and I agree with you: the progression curve felt off. Many of you hit a wall where you maxed out all your upgrades too quickly, while the enemies kept getting stronger. This left you feeling underpowered and unable to complete the game. In an incremental game, you should feel stronger over time, not weaker. Today, I am releasing a massive balance overhaul that fixes this issue. Here is what is new: Economy & Progression Overhaul No More Early Caps: I have completely re-scaled the upgrade costs and extended the progression curve. You will no longer max out all upgrades in the first couple of hours. The progression is now much deeper, giving you continuous and meaningful goals over hundreds of runs. Massive Weapon Scaling Out-Scale the Swarm: Previously, weapon damage capped out too low compared to the late-game enemies. To fix this, I have drastically buffed the Base Damage and Upgrade Scaling of the Burst, Missiles, Drones, and Beams. Late-game weapons now scale like true ultimate weapons. If you invest in them, they will easily shred through the pathogens that used to block your path. Survival Balance Meaningful Defenses: The interaction between your Health, Armor, Resilience, and the enemies' collision damage has been reworked. With the new HP scaling and defensive tweaks, you now have the tools to survive the late-game Alpha pathogens as long as your offense keeps up. Jump back into the bloodstream, keep upgrading your arsenal, and experience the late-game progression as it was meant to be. Let me know how far you can push the numbers in the new economy. Happy purging!
