Still using it while writing this review! I played the demo, I'd say if you're unsure to try out the demo, but for 12 bucks I really like it as a new sound novel + mirroring-sound machine for working (and if it bores me, there's always Chill With You or gogh).
What sets it apart from CWY (the clear inspiration for this game): - The addition of multiple camera angles (can be shuffled) - The ability to shuffle time periods/weather over time to prevent the program entirely fading into the bg/helping remind you to work - Cute witch aesthetic (fantasy as opposed to modern/sleek CWY)
What it lacks as of this launch day review/some QOL suggestions: - To-do list - Other bonus things like habit tracker, journal, etc - More soundscape/ambient/customization options and etc would always be nice - I like you can import music, but unfortunately, like CWY, it takes up the pc's RAM
I haven't played for long, but I've already fallen in love with this game. It has its own unique cozy study-with-me style that doesn't imitate verbatim with anything else, and interacting with the character (I'm trying not to spoil any bits of story or secrets) is incredibly sweet and relaxing. I highly suggest this game if you're a big fan of interactive study-style games and you love magical fantasy anime! It really makes me feel like I'm watching/playing something Ghibli itself would approve of.
ADDENDUM after 10 hours of pomodoros: The customization and story line in this game may be slow to unlock but both have depth and an update is already planned!
ORIGINAL REVIEW: This game is pretty much a Pomodoro timer with a storyline. If this is something that can help you ... I recommend it, it helps me which is why I have a thumbs up. Memorie is a sweet accountability partner and it is fun getting to know her story but she doesn't have the endless customization of a lot of productivity games. Everything she has needs to be unlocked, it all unlocks slowly and requires pomodoros, and there isn't a lot of content (which I hope will change). But if you are someone like me, that benefits from a changing roster of virtual accountability partners ... she is a good addition. I probably wouldn't recommend this game as the first productivity game a person try ... but just because it can take some time and effort to figure out your style and Memorie doesn't have a lot of that flexibility built in yet. I trust that it will come. For now, she's a great new friend, very serious about her studies, and scolds me if I try to start a chat when I should be working. ie, for me she's wonderful.

This is a small update, but it brings a requested feature that lets you save Pomodoro Timer settings as presets.We also made improvements to the To-Do List, adjusted ambient sound volumes, and fixed several bugs.Timer PresetsYou can now save up to five timer settings you use often. Open the Timer Presets list with the mouse or the R key. Select “Apply” in the list, or press a number key from 1 to 5 while the list is open, to apply the corresponding preset to the timer.Switch between settings to suit what you want to focus on, and make the timer your own.Ambient Sound Volume AdjustmentsWe adjusted the volume of “Simmering Pot,” “Cicada Chorus,” “Dripping Eaves,” “Gentle Rain,” “Mountain Stream,” and “Babbling Brook.” To-Do List ControlsWhen you open the To-Do List, the cursor now moves to the task input field.You can now navigate the To-Do List with the keyboard arrow keys or a gamepad.Other ChangesWhen adjusting timer settings, holding down a button now speeds up repeated input.We added the “Daily Badge Pop-ups” setting to Options.
