Galaxy Grinder is a fast-paced incremental game where you destroy planets and asteroids with your cursor and weapons. Earn resources, unlock new worlds, and grow stronger through upgrades, skills, and power-ups between runs.

The aesthetics of this game are well done: solid visuals (but no option for turning off cliche CRT effects), and has some great tunes.
Mechanically this game is a mess. Tree is ok but simple and uninteresting. It's clearly not balanced - I used a built-in mechanic to complete the game in < 1 hr...
Obnoxious moments of design oversight, e.g. when you unlock the last Object and go into the fight without the requisite power-up - it seems you just sit there doing nothing. Then it seems you're stuck fighting this same Object until it's dead. While the game also hinders your ability to gain resources. Terrible design.
At the time of writing, this game cost me a grand total of £3.67 . Honestly, you can't get much in this day and age for that amount, so a couple of hours of entertainment is well worth that amount.
The game itself is relatively short. I powered through it, with 100% completion in just over 2 hours. But again, you can hardly expect hundreds of hours of gameplay for the cost of the game.
I've played a lot of incremental games and this one is exactly as you'd expect. Do a level, time runs out, go to the skill tree, grab your upgrades and then repeat. This game does allow you to unlock some extra power ups which prove useful in later game and to progress you unlock various planets. The game also has an auto aim feature, so if you want to just watch each level unfold you can.
Is it ground breaking, no. Is it unique, no. Is it a bit of good fun for a small amount of money, in my opinion yes.
This game really was amazing and sucked me in. I'm a huge incremental fan and if you like incremental games, this one is definitely worth it. Although I'm gonna be blunt, 6 dollars is a bit too much, this game should be around 3 or 4 dollars CAD maximum because it's way shorter than regular incremental games. So a bit overpriced, yes but it was engaging and fun enough to let go of that. If you can afford the extra bit, by all means go ahead and get it as it will not disappoint
