Thanks to the player who reported this one. Fix A Rebloom with Petal Pockets at a high level could start you on trees far too big to chop, with no crew and no lumber to hire one. Unless you caught a firefly or a Golden Tree, there was no way forward. Now, once a run has gone 15 minutes with no crew and no lumber for one, your trees fall to 50 clicks, swipes or hold-chops. That one tree pays for a full crew, and the game carries on as normal. Everything else plays exactly as before: your crew, Legendary Trees and every normal run are unchanged. Tip: tapping fireflies at night or a Golden Tree also gets a stuck run going, and Seedling Savings on the Acorn Tree makes every Replant start with lumber. Your grove carries over as always.
Korean YouTuber and streamer 리키리킹 (YouTube, SOOP) played BUBBA CHOP GROVE live on SOOP, in a stream titled “전설의 나무를 베는 게임 'BUBBA CHOP GROVE'” (“The game where you chop down Legendary Trees: ‘BUBBA CHOP GROVE’”). He started a brand-new save on stream, and more than five hours in he beat the Giga Tree, the last of the Legendary Trees, became its friend and made it all the way to the “Thanks for playing!” screen.
