Guardians, Thunderstorms, and Ash Colossi – Dev Log #2

Hey everyone! In the last dev log, I talked about battlefields 4-6, the icy territories inhabited by monstrous Jotuns. Today I want to take you even further ahead, into the lands of the ancient Ash Colossi, and show you what new spells and upgrades you’ll have to fight them.Ashes of an Empire Thousands of years ago lived a race of giants who built a great empire – but their experiments in dark magic brought their downfall, calling fire and destruction from the depths of the world and smothering their empire in ash. This wasn’t the end for the giants though, only a new beginning. Rising from the ashes as eternal undead came the Ash Colossi, who even now roam the lands of their old empire, destroying any interlopers they come across. Are you strong enough to lead your army against them, and take for yourself their ancient powers? New Spells and AlliesTo help you in your fight against the Colossi, dozens of new upgrades are available to unlock. Lightning will stun enemies, and by killing stunned enemies you can build Charge – unleashing a devastating thunderstorm to clear the battlefield. Your archers and spearmen will have their weapons imbued with the power of the elements, and there’s a new ally as well: the mighty Guardian, a hulking suit of armour animated by arcane magic who charges into the battlefield to fight to the death against the approaching undead. Improving Earlier Battlefields As well as working on new maps, I’ve been polishing old ones as well. Here’s a look at battlefield #4, the Frozen Marches – with snowy trees, new plants, and icy particles flying through the air. Let Me Know Your Thoughts! That’s all for today. Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoyed this behind-the-scenes look at Legion Breaker’s development. Want to share your thoughts on the new enemies, spells, and battlefields shown in this dev log? Giants, Direwolves, Lightning, and More – Dev Log #1

Hey everyone!I’m so happy to see that people have been enjoying the Legion Breaker demo so far. I’ve been working since Next Fest on content for the full game. The demo features only the first 3 levels, and the full game will feature 15, so there’s a lot to do! From now on I’ll be writing these dev logs to keep you updated on what’s coming in the full game. Today, I want to tell you about levels 4-6 that come right after the end of the demo. The Ice Wastes and the JotunsThe legions of the Necromancer King aren’t all skeletons – there are evil men and monsters in his army too. In maps 4-6, your wizard progresses through the Ice Wastes, home of the monstrous Jotuns. Towering over your soldiers, the Jotuns are less numerous than the skeletons, but far more dangerous.A Wizard’s Best FriendAfter defeating the mage at the end of the third level, you’ll be given a choice: three direwolf cubs have been abandoned, and you can choose one to tame. Depending on which you choose, you can gain increased HP, attack rate, or attack radius. Either way, your pet direwolf will fight by your side in battles too! 🐺 Mastering the ElementsWith new levels come dozens of new upgrades. Boost your HP with the Spirit of Fire, shield yourself against evil with the Blight Ward, call down Lightning upon the heads of your foes and raise Earth Walls to defend yourself – and deal damage back with Thorns. And many more spells to come!Let Me Know Your Thoughts! That’s all for today. Thank you for reading, I really appreciate your support, and I would love to hear your thoughts. What do you think of the new battlefields? Which direwolf pup would you choose? Are you looking forward to using the new spells? Let me know in the comments! You can also stay up to date, follow behind the scenes, and chat with me on the Discord server: https://discord.gg/BMXSDMJ5DBFinally, thank you to everyone who has played the demo, and especially to those who have left a review. I really appreciate it, every single one means...
