Void Core casts you as an expanding black hole that consumes matter and galaxies to grow stronger. The core loop involves harvesting resources, automating collection through spacetime manipulation, and triggering evolution upgrades that unlock new consumption mechanics. It's designed for players who enjoy watching exponential progress unfold with minimal interaction, paired with a clean sci-fi aesthetic built around cosmic-scale destruction.

What's changed in 1.2.2? Leaderboard fixes

VOID CORE 1.2.2 is live on Windows! What's changed More reliable connections: Leaderboards recover from temporary startup connection failures and retry failed reads. A failed download no longer looks like an empty list. Smarter score syncing: The game checks your existing Steam record before submitting, avoiding unnecessary uploads. Automatic refresh: After a successful score upload, an open leaderboard for that same category refreshes while keeping your selected view and page. Clearer filters: The unavailable Endless mode is no longer offered in current leaderboard filters. Historical records are preserved. Your existing saves, achievements and leaderboard records carry forward. Keep playing with your current save—no reset needed. Thank you for your feedback!

Update 1.2.1 — Six special entities & restored achievements

VOID CORE 1.2.1 is live on Windows! There is more to discover after your first Collapse: six special encounters, new long-term milestones and a clearer way for returning players to receive the restored Endgame achievements. What's changed Six special entities: Relic Comet at 3 Collapses, Twin Pulsar at 5, Stellar Vault at 10, Orbital Archive at 15, Wandering Nebula at 25 and White Hole at 50. Each has its own encounter, from linked cores and orbiting fragments to a growing nebula and expanding waves. Automatic unlocks: Reaching a threshold unlocks that entity for subsequent runs, with no resource purchase. The special-entity catalogue appears at the top of the Entities tab after your first Collapse and shows each unlock requirement and reward. Encounters worth noticing: The system targets around 2–3 randomly selected, unlocked special encounters per run; very short runs may finish before all appear. They are slightly larger, with distinct background glow. Rewards use the highest resource currently unlocked in your cycle, so early tiers do not receive unusable Dark Energy. New 15/25/50 milestones: Earn new titles and medallions, a name frame at 25 and the selectable Infinity core at 50. These rewards follow your actual Collapse progress. Visual and save polish: Special entities now fit the game's visual style more closely. Large static circles were removed from the Infinity core. Run-time counting on exit and special-encounter save handling were also corrected. Endgame achievements restored: The archived Beyond the Beginning, Cycle Veteran and Master of the Void achievements are available again, using their existing Steam IDs. Already earned achievements remain earned. Returning players: how to claim the restored achievements To recognise players who had already completed their first journey, qualifying old saves receive all three restored Endgame achievements as a one-time recovery. Which saves qualify? Your old save must contain evidence of at least one completed C...

Big Update 1.2.0 — Leaderboards & new ranks

1.2.0 is live! This update gives your records a place to compete and your long-term progress more room to grow. What's changed Steam leaderboards. Compare Total Collapses and Fastest Cycle records with the world or your friends, or check the players around your rank. Open them directly from the main menu, hub or Collapse results. Speed records are grouped by starting tier, field condition and energy mode. Your existing records count. Launch the updated game with Steam connected: eligible records from all four save slots are imported automatically. Old and new players share the same category boards. Total Collapses uses your highest single-slot count; slots are not added together. Each speed category uses your fastest valid saved time. Offline submissions retry when you reconnect. Missing historical times are not estimated. Levels beyond 100 and new ranks. Keep earning XP after level 100, discover new titles through level 200 and continue into numbered title stages beyond that. Statistics shows your next rank. Level-based power bonuses and card rewards finish at 100; a Collapse still resets your cycle level and XP. Previously unrecorded XP cannot be restored. A lasting place for earned milestones. Your 3/5/10 Collapse medals and highest earned milestone title appear in Statistics, with medal badges beside names on the Total Collapses board. Existing qualifying progress is recognized without repeating the milestones. More polished rewards and feedback. Updated medals, emblems, the Mastery core appearance and Collapse-result presentation make your progress easier to see. The Mastery appearance remains an optional cosmetic reward at 10 Collapses. Stronger later cycles. The Collapse income multiplier now grows with your Collapse progress up to x5. The current bonus and the next step are shown in game. Continue with your existing save Your progress, resources, cards, swarms and earned rewards carry over from 1.1.5. The first Collapse remains the main ending; further goals...
