After 2 hours, I encountered a quest without description that softblocked me, then I tried to restart the game, and all my main resources (rocks, woods, coals) were gone. And of course that quest was still bugged.
Moreover, the HUD is god awful. I found it very annoying to click on everything. I swear every time the hitboxes changed position.

New update: Devs read my review and they've released a patch that fixed these issues in a matter of hours. The quest now works properly, and clicking on stuff isn't as annoying as before.
But I still cannot recommend this demo, because I encountered another quest that requires some specific items to clear, but they are impossible to get. I guess they didn't test this demo enough.

This game actually advertises it as an idle game, but until you get to the point where the game actually gets idle, it will need quite a bunch of hours of active gameplay for you to have the game running in the background. That's because some things like generating food for the monsters and dealing with wastes and critters, are locked behind quests, certain resources grinding (which takes time to gather if you have only one of the monster that get it) or you need to beat another requirement to unlock.

Beside that, the idea is actually good, with the player even being able to reduce the size of the game window (so you can make use of that space for other things in your pc), so the game can idle while you do your things, but the execution of getting to the point where idle ends up being a thing makes so the player have to literally earn the right to idle in this game.

Another thing that is actually really annoying in this game, is how many bugs there are here. There are points where your monsters stop doing their farming activities (like sowing, watering and lighting crops), and there's even bugs where if you leave the game running for a long period of time, the monsters will get tired way more easily, and they will spend most of their time asleep than doing anything.
There's even a bug where your inventory could have items and monsters disappear from it (I think it might be fixed, I don't know).

A thing I wish I knew since stat, is that by clicking on the counter of monster capacity in the world allows you to buy a increase in limit of monsters in the world. At least would reduce the management of monsters in the world (even more since you'll need different monsters to do their stuffs). Beside, that's also necessary to be done to increase the world size, since you'll be missing content if you don't expand the monster capacity.

And another thing, is that some materials like rocks, ores and stuff that you are not using, ends up clogging the inventory as you leave the game running. I don't know if there's a cap for those inventory slots, but with the amount of 999 items in my inventory, I already begun seeing a scrollbar on it.

Anyways, the game needs improvements in the idle aspect, to not make it feel like it should be earned. And also a severe bug bashing also. Other than that, the creatures actually look cool (beside I have no idea what that achievement of reaching 2 stage of evolution means, or how that's done).

Kinda works, it opens a black window with a small strip in the middle for the game, if you full-screen and then exit full-screen it moves to the top, which I think looks better.

Each menu seems to be in its own window, including the items in the inventory.

I got stuck at the tutorial where you have to feed the blue fruits to the pig, the inventory covers the pig, so you can't see him, and dragging the item does nothing, if you drag the window the item is in, it moves, but the pig won't eat it, if you click inside the window after moving it, it snaps the window to the centre again.

There is some audio crackling, but disabling vsync seems to fix that, this may be related to my system settings that force the vsync target to 90fps instead of 60fps.

Overall this game looks good, I just can't get past the weird black window rendering issues.

Hope to see some updates to polish the bugs.
