Update 0.126 — Combat Timing, Deployment and Exchange Fixes

This update fixes slowed combat, deployment problems with certain equipment effects, and bulk manual exchanges, with clearer tutorial prompts and interface descriptions. Combat and Deployment Fixed the entire game slowing down along with the frame rate during crowded battles. Fixed reduced idle rewards while in town with automatic potion use enabled. Fixed being unable to deploy after transferring a high-tier weapon effect to a scroll and equipping it. Affected existing saves recover when loaded. Tutorial and Interface Fixed tutorial objectives remaining on the town and battle screens after Tutorial Guidance was disabled in Settings. Thanks to XjoeCZ for the report. The Drunken Sword lesson's on-screen prompt now names all five required party members. Thanks to matt1321111 for the report. Fixed a gap along the left edge of tavern character portraits. Simplified attribute tooltips on the Companions screen to focus on useful stats. Corrected localized names for the Meteor caster's star-gathering skill. Exchanges “Exchange All for Coins” now exchanges all duplicate manuals in the stack, rather than just one. Adventurer, Practice and Resident packs in the Spirit Dust shop now explain what they contain and where the rewards go. The confirmation message also tells you where to find them. Thanks to 小風 for the reports. Thank you for your feedback. We will keep fixing and improving the game.

Update 0.125 — Tavern Portraits, Tutorial and UI Improvements

This update adds more tavern portraits, simplifies the beginner build lesson, and fixes several interface issues. Tavern and Tutorial Added story portraits for more companions and reduced portrait asset sizes. Simplified the beginner Drunken Sword build lesson: deploy the five characters requested by the tutorial to complete the lesson and claim 75 Qingling Herbs. UI Fixes Fixed the English Realm screen hiding Attack and HP information when no cultivation pills were available. Fixed character names on the Forge's effect-transfer page, as well as titles, footer text and currency units on the Manuals screen, failing to update when changing languages. Improved spacing around the effect-transfer buttons and the furnace-upgrade material text. Fixed long descriptions pushing the attribute-pill selection window's Close button offscreen. Descriptions now scroll inside the window. Reduced unnecessary UI rebuilding when unequipping and re-equipping manuals. Combat Performance Reduced processing overhead when preparing damage-over-time effects as part of our ongoing combat performance work.

Update 0.124: A smoother start, level-up stutter fixes, and new tavern portraits

This update focuses on the early game, stutters during kills and level-ups, and clearer controls across several screens. Combat and progression Fixed noticeable stutters during kill processing and character level-ups. Added an Auto Breakthrough toggle, off by default. When enabled, deployed characters automatically use cultivation pills and take turns attempting breakthroughs. The Realm screen now updates as these changes happen. Fallen companions now receive experience from combat kills too. Battles in Hunyuan Secret Realm and the Demon-Sealing Tower keep running when you visit town. Returning brings you back to the current battlefield. This change does not apply to tribulation battles. Successfully removing a negative effect now displays “Dispel” above the character. Getting started Your first tavern visit now guarantees an Epic companion costing no more than 1,000 coins. The first free recruit remains clearly marked. Equipment guidance now appears after your first equipment drop. Your first party defeat automatically opens “Get Stronger.” Obtaining cultivation pills prompts you to visit the Realm screen and enable Auto Breakthrough. Increased some early herb rewards and improved quest guidance, invitation names, and reward displays. Fixed tutorial close buttons that could not be clicked, overlapping tips, and guidance pointing to unavailable buttons. Tavern and interface Eleven companions have new full-body story portraits in the tavern. Party counts, roster information, and the avatar have been repositioned, with two larger, clearer skill icons. Companion screens and character tooltips now show Aptitude as x/1000. Fixed missing tooltips and skill descriptions showing the wrong character's information. After selecting a manual, you can now left-click a manual slot to equip it. Existing right-click and double-click controls remain available. Fixed shop selection jumping to another item after a purchase and manual subtabs ignoring the first click. Improved map name...
