🐱 Mrrrow! Ushan here! Hello, hackers! I’m Ushan, the Executive Producer of Hacker Cats, and this is my first time hosting a devlog! We’ve been working hard on a major visual update. Our artist Lilya has redesigned almost every element of the game, updated the labels, and given our fluffy hackers a fresh new look. But the biggest change is happening with the White Hackers. Previously, they would scan network nodes randomly, and the safest strategy was often just to wait for the scan to finish. Now you can actually see them moving through the network and use their movements to plan your hacking strategy. Hacking is becoming more dynamic, more interactive, and, of course, more fun! 💻🐾 We’re also working on something else very important: the story. Incremental games don’t often have a deep narrative, but Hacker Cats is going to be different. We’re creating a full story with its own world and, most importantly, characters we hope you’ll grow to love as much as we do. There’s still a lot of work ahead, but the cats are getting ready.
