At time of review (right after release), this game feels rather clunky and unpolished.
In general it feels like this game is trying to be TIS-100 with a fancier interface, but currently it just kind of falls flat.
- there is no tutorial
- the documentation doesn't fully line up with actual functionality (e.g. documentation shows arithmetic opcodes taking one argument, but they actually take two)
- the scoring is unclear (what is bonus score? what determines "power used"?)
- in addition, optimizing for a single "score" value misses out on a large part of the appeal of zachlikes, which is optimizing for different metrics at the expense of others
- there doesn't seem to be a way to step individual cycles in the simulation
- maybe it gets better later on, but the early puzzles feel rather uninspired and boring
