The Greedy Knight pairs auto-battling combat with draft-based progression in bite-sized dungeons that take roughly two minutes each. You don't control the action directly; instead, you choose which dungeon to tackle, select your party's upgrades between runs, and decide how to spend accumulated gold. Death is frequent but expected—each run funds permanent improvements that push you further into the next attempt.

v0.9.6 — weather dice & the run bonus

weather dice the next set's weather is now thrown on a die, right on the reward screen. a reroll throws the cards and the weather together, so chasing a better card can change the sky. the first set of a dungeon is always clear. the run bonus part of the gold you earn is held back as a run bonus, and it grows every set you push on. end the run from any reward screen to take it, or beat the boss to collect it. die, and it's gone. (the door's bank & leave doesn't pay it. no banking a moment before you die.) bosses you can read every boss attack now warns the same way: the exact area it'll hit is outlined in red and blinks faster as the hit gets close. a red ! pops over the boss while it winds up. kill or stun it first and the attack is cancelled. the first few times each hero uses their ability in a run, its name pops up over their head. builds & cards every build card wears its build's colour and a wax seal (caster, heavy, brawler, blood, greed, party or guard), and once you've taken one, more of that build come your way. five new cards: cleave, bloodlust, hoard, haymaker and bastion. the reward screen deals its cards in with a proper flip and burst, and rerolls feel snappier. reworked: long arms is now whirlwind, cold feet is now elbow room, and magpie, flawless, pocket change, quick feet, heavy hands and thorns all do something worth picking now. buffed: hot hands, echo, loaded dice, lucky strike, sidestep, execute, rally, hone the edge, and deep pockets (was "the hoard"). stunned enemies show stars over their heads, and aftershock and static stun for longer. weather you can actually see every weather now tints the edges of the screen in its own colour and has its own particles: real rain with splashes, rolling fog and smoke, embers, spores, cinders, frost, gusts, and speed lines when enemies are frenzied. settings & accessibility new: readable font. swaps the pixel lettering for atkinson hyperlegible, a typeface made for low vision (english, spanish, portuguese, g...
