CYCLES is an idle game where you build automated machines that progressively replace your own actions, watching your control buttons dim as each layer completes. Once the machine no longer needs you, you ascend to a new layer where the previous cycle's progress carries forward. It's a meditation on automation and renewal designed for players who enjoy watching systems evolve beyond their direct control.
About this game
an idle game about automating yourself out of a job. build the machine layer by layer; each layer you finish retires the one below it - your own buttons go dark as you win. when the machine no longer needs you, you break the cycle. and wake up one layer higher. the loop remembers. that's the game.
