Build a trading empire by ferrying cargo between space stations, gradually upgrading your fleet and expanding routes to generate more credits. The core loop involves managing supply runs, reinvesting profits into better ships, and automating trade lanes as your operation scales. Best for players who enjoy the steady progression of economic sims combined with space exploration themes.

- Fixed an occasional black screen at startup: if the intro video can’t start, the game now goes straight to the main menu, and a slow answer from Steam can no longer hold up loading. - New setting under Controls: Nav Assist mouse sensitivity (100–200%). The Navigation Assist minigame now also follows your mouse across the whole window, so you no longer have to leave the window to counter strong winds. Online rounds: the event log and chat no longer pick up lines from players in another round. - The online server list and online rounds no longer freeze the window for a few seconds while Steam is slow to answer.
A new element has been discovered on the rim. Miners working security 0–3 belts can now find Anemonium (An) seams: tap one and the tank fills while the pressure builds, and every hour you keep drilling is riskier than the last. Cap the well in time to bank your haul. Push your luck too far and it blows, wrecking the rig, stalling its drills and rattling your other rigs on the same belt. Keep drilling past 8 hours and a blow takes the whole rig. Banked Anemonium powers Anemonium Warp: dematerialize a fleet mid-journey and rematerialize it at its destination. The cost depends on the time left and the size of the fleet, and containment holds only 40 An. Also in this update: - Regular pirate wings can now drop blueprints. The cheapest pirate hulls turn up in ordinary sectors, while the Gallows Hound and the bigger hulls drop on the rim and in Uncharted Space. The Iron Sovereign is now a boss-only prize. - New single-player setting: Pause the galaxy while I’m away. Your company, fleets and AI rivals pick up exactly where you left them.
Something is drifting out there. Fleets crossing anything below high-sec space can now stumble on dead ships mid-warp, and the choice is yours: scan it first, board it for the salvage, or leave it drifting. Some wrecks are clean, some are pirate-rigged with booby traps, sabotage or tripwires that call in a raiding wing, and some carry an alien infection: a virus, a parasite, or spores that land you in quarantine. The riskier the wreck, the bigger the haul. Pirate Intel and Alien Intel in the Citadel now also put demolition specialists and xenobiologists aboard every fleet. They identify the hazard, neutralise it far more often, and halve the damage when it still goes off. Online rounds: the lottery ticket window now opens by itself in the last 3 hours before each draw if you haven’t bought a ticket yet.
