CORE!1! 0.9.0 — New Secrets Underground

Demo 0.9.0 makes progression smoother and the mine easier to explore. - Levels arrive more often and award 1–2 upgrade points. The total upgrade budget is unchanged.- Ore blocks, their drops, and Almanac entries now match.- The Almanac shows nearby page numbers, while quick offers take you directly to the relevant item or upgrade.- You can now see the health of the block you’re targeting. Take another look at that strange booklet. It may be hiding more than it seems. The demo still ends at room 184. The new level curve requires **a fresh save slot**. Older saves remain stored.

CORE!1! — Update 0.8.0

Update 0.8.0 changes how your journey underground begins and unfolds. We’ve reworked your first discoveries, brought the main game sections together in the Almanac, and revised equipment progression. \It starts with a pickaxe and a book\New possibilities now appear gradually as you descend. Your first pet, lighting, relics, the Store, and other features unlock through discoveries in the mine. Luck, Magnet, and Power charges also have their own introductions.Tutorials have been updated to explain features as they become available.\The Almanac brings everything together\Your collection journal, depth map, upgrades, achievements, and Store now share one book, complete with bookmarks and animated page turns.\\The journal fills with your discoveries.\Collections and achievements have their own indexes and pages.\The Store is now an album with individual product spreads, characteristics, prices, and ownership marks.\You can turn and tilt the Store booklet to inspect both sides.\Added sounds for collecting paper, turning pages, and the book’s first appearance.\\Help your companions hatch\Press an egg four times to hatch it: each press adds more cracks until your new companion appears. Eggs now gently rock, and entering a room containing an egg or relic plays a sound cue.Pet mining and light carrying now unlock through separate upgrades. \More consistent progression\\\The upgrade tree follows six connected branches.\Unlocking the next node requires the first rank of its predecessor and reaching the appropriate room.\Rebalanced XP, upgrade points, and resource rewards.\Revised when events and equipment become available.\Reworked the route: the demo now ends in room 184.\\84 discoveries for your collection\ Fixed the connections between ore blocks, dropped items, and Almanac entries. All 84 species—60 minerals, 12 cheeses, and 12 organic specimens—have their own entries and can be discovered within the demo.\Presentation and fixes\ Updated book pages, Store artwork, discovery...

# CORE!1! — Update 0.7.1

## A more compact interface- Menu, Pause, Settings, lighting controls, and side tabs now slide out individually when hovered. The Almanac stays in place.- Store, Upgrade, and Achievements also tuck under the money panel. Their visible portions help keep labels readable, and the hover area extends by 24 pixels to make opening them easier.- When a purchase or upgrade becomes available, its button slides out. Visiting the section lets it tuck away again, even if you buy nothing.- During tutorials, the relevant button stays open.- Removed the on-screen Hide UI button and next-goal label. The H shortcut still works.## Lighting and store- Darkness gradually increases from 5% to 75% on the first layer. It reaches 85% on layer two, 90% on layer three, 95% on layer four, and 98% afterward.- Item unlock requirements now show the layer and room instead of the overall room number.- Purchased temporary lights and floor fixtures immediately update in equipment selectors, including pet equipment.## Fixes- Fixed clicks and mining becoming blocked after purchases and tutorial prompts. Tutorials wait until their required interface elements are available.- Fixed pet routes to loot after the Aftershock earthquake and when breaking a Massive Block.- Fixed dropped-item placement on special event blocks and after their destruction.
