A miniature planet orbits your screen as your astronaut and corgi autonomously gather resources, deconstruct debris, and reconstruct their crashed vessel. You periodically spend accumulated materials to accelerate repairs, then blast off to the next procedural world. This is idling meets desktop pet—a low-pressure loop for players who want progress ticking away while they focus on other tasks.
About this game
A tiny 3D planet sits at the edge of your desktop. Your astronaut and their corgi chop, mine, and rebuild a crashed rocket while you work — glance over, spend what they gathered, watch the ship come back together, and launch to the next world.

Cosmo Corgis is coming to Steam on Wednesday, October 28, 2026! We’re also part of the Companion Falls for You festival, and I’m excited to share the release date alongside our participation announcement. Thank you to IndieLab and Mister Morris Games for including the game, and to everyone who’s spent a little time with Scout and the corgis so far. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46264767/8fa529b1fd51c214b21ca5c7f95574fc1fe1d876.png Your new favorite coworkers The full game takes Scout through ten planets on the way home, rescuing ten corgis with six personalities. They have mining lasers, a megaphone, a welder, a hover bed, and varying ideas about what counts as helping. Scout still has not become a better pilot. Gather resources, upgrade your equipment, and rebuild the rocket while the corgis keep you company at the bottom of your desktop. Meet the first three corgis for free You can try the first three planets in the free Windows demo now, meeting Mechanic, Security, and Mining. Your demo save carries into the full game. Watch the new release-date trailer on our store page, try the demo, and wishlist Cosmo Corgis to get a reminder when it launches on October 28. I hope you and your future desktop crew enjoy the journey! https://store.steampowered.com/app/5060940/Cosmo_Corgis/ — Daniel, Bad Llama Studios
Scout has some very good company The Windows demo has been updated with suited corgis, personality backpacks, and more little moments around camp. Your first three rescues each bring something different to the journey: Mechanic, in yellow: tends the rocket with a little backpack welder. Watch for the sparks and a small "Bzzzz." Security, in blue: chases visiting wildlife with an oversized megaphone and an equally oversized bork. Mining, in amber: heads out to gather with a backpack laser. The little post-blast flip is part of the job. Mechanic now starts the journey on planet one. Scout keeps gathering, takes a short chair break when storage is full, and gets back to work when resources are needed. Resources grow back smoothly, and the crew has more room for its activities around camp. A smoother little world This update rounds the characters' walking routes and softens their turns, sharpens the Progress drawer's text, and ends personality close-ups when their subject leaves the shot. The first planet has also been shortened to help you meet your next companion sooner. Rescuing a corgi is the upgrade The Corgis progress row fills automatically as you rescue each companion. Scout's gathering and storage upgrades remain separate, so you can follow both his progress and your growing crew. The demo includes the first three planets. After finishing the third, you can keep spending time with your crew there. Existing demo progress uses the same save location, with the first rescue slot now assigned to Mechanic. Still to come in the full game Clingy, Lazy, and Chaos corgis are also in development: a loyal resource-carrying shadow, a floating dog bed, and a backpack ball launcher. Those personalities belong to the full game's later planets and are not included in this three-planet demo. I'm focusing on polishing these personalities and getting the game ready to ship. If you try the demo, I'd love to hear which corgi you enjoy watching most—and whether Scout or anyone in the...
The corgis have laser backpacks now. The recoil comes with a backflip lol. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8X0WxxItIU Demo 1.3.0 is live! The fifth automatic gathering upgrade gives your corgi a laser backpack. It opens up, charges, blasts the resource, and sends the corgi into a backflip before packing itself away. The backpack bounces around while the corgi runs, then steadies to aim. This update also brings a stranded corgi to rescue on each of the three planets. Scout pets them, they join the camp, and the rocket grows to bring them along. Each corgi has its own personality: one follows Scout, one chases wildlife, and one prefers hanging around camp. There is also a new progress menu for automatic gathering, backpack, and base storage upgrades, plus CHOP, CLUNK, CLINK and PEW bubbles while gathering.
