Build an insectoid hive that gradually consumes a real city through idle progression and evolution mechanics. The game runs while you're offline, letting your colony expand and adapt over eight to ten hours until reaching its designed conclusion. Suited for players who enjoy contained incremental experiences with narrative endpoint and no pay-to-win pressure.
About this game
Choose a city. Yours, ideally. The hive starts there and spreads through real cities feeding, evolving, working while you're away. A finite premium incremental: eight to ten hours, a declared ending, no microtransactions. One planet.

I'm Max, from Verona, Italy. I'm building this game on my own, in the evenings, after a day spent writing software for heat pumps. Not exactly adjacent to alien invasions, I know. The game is an idle game where you play the alien hive taking over the Earth. What makes it different is where it starts: from your own city. You type Verona, Lyon or Osaka, the hive is born there, and from there it spreads across a real globe. Like any idle game, it keeps going while you're away.I've been working on it for about four months. I'm a programmer, not an artist, so the aliens are essentially a color creeping across the map, and the planet is built from real satellite imagery. Some parts will look rough for a while. I'd rather be upfront about that than have you discover it.There is no premium currency and no timers you can pay to skip. You buy the game once, and that's the whole deal.I'll post updates here whenever I have something worth showing. I'm not going to commit to a schedule, because with one or two hours a night I would break it within a week.If this sounds like your kind of game, adding it to your wishlist and hitting Follow helps more than anything else at this stage. And if you feel like it, tell me your city in the comments. I'm curious to see where people would start.Max
