Fruit for the Village is a VR narrative experience set in a post-climate catastrophe world where you help a struggling desert village survive. The game combines light idle mechanics—primarily clicking flower pots and managing basic automation—with a story-driven exploration of how the world reached this state. It appeals to players seeking atmospheric storytelling in VR rather than deep progression systems.

Sadly, I cannot recommend this one, even as a fairly big fan of the clicker genre. There are 2 flower pots, a single and a quad. There's an auto-clicker. That's it. There are absolutely no more growers, no faster clickers, no upgrades, nothing. No progression at all, just building identical clusters of the same 2 flowerpots.
Also fairly buggy. The prices went off the edges of the price tag after only about a half hour, and the save game disk turned invisible after the first time it was used.

So I got this game free as part of my curated group. However, I can't recommend this game. I simply did not enjoy playing it. I tried playing it for as long as possible but I just figured I have better things to do after almost 45 minutes and I really did not see the game evolving from what it was. There's just not enough here to enjoy.
So there's three options at the start. A story mode, pick your hand skin tone (what shade of brown do you want?), and the endless survival mode. I picked my random hand skin tone and started story mode. So the best part of this game is the game narrator. It's a good voice actor although he sounds like Patrick Warburton (aka David Puddy). However, the story really is barren, along with the gameplay, visuals, and sounds.
You basically have 1 environment with 3 levels. It's polygon art. It's not bad, but it's not pretty to look at either. You go up and down those 3 levels in this elevator shaft. Although, I have no idea why the top level exists. You're basically only going up and down the lower 2 levels. On the 2nd level you're buying plant pots and auto growers. On the 3rd (lowest) level you're buying food to send up to the village.
You need to grow plants fast enough to get enough money to buy the food for the village. You can bang on the planted pots with a mallet to make the fruit grow or you can buy an auto-grower and the planted pot fruit will grow automatically. Then it's just a matter of managing resources. That's the whole game.
Maybe at .99 cents I could recommend this game ... no, no I couldn't. There's just not enough story or interesting gameplay elements here. Maybe at free if you need a timewaster this is worth it.
Rate 3.5/10. Way overpriced and dull to play. But it did run smoothly. I think the dev meant well and has a good idea for a game, it just needs a lot more... look at Counterfight VR (aka Ramen Noodle Shop) ... you need more stuff to do to make this game interesting. I would love to change my review to positive if major changes are made to this game to make it enjoyable.
