It's free. It's in Alpha. Of course there is not much content yet. Anyway the dev seems to be working on it a lot and gave some sneak-peak on upcoming content. which looks promising.
Give it a try and check for updates every couple of days. It could become a very nice, fun little time-waster.
A Mining Game is extremely fun at first. Collecting multiple ores, selling the ores for money to upgrade your pickaxe (speed and amount of ores), purchase workers for passive income and other upgrades.
This game has been in Early Access (beta) for almost 3 years now, the game is still extremely buggy and feel as if it has been forgotten for the developer's other game - Arcadius. I tried joining their discord, although extremely inactive. A few new members a day reporting bugs, and you're lucky if the dev replies or fixes any (some of which have been there for over a year with no fix).
The games UI has spelling errors which have been pointed out with no fix too - Reaserch and Effincency. The Offline Efficiency upgrade is USELESS as it has been disabled due to a bug (if playing this game, do not bother upgrading this).
Moving on from the negatives, there is multiple achievements available which give you a sense of progression. Upgrades were somewhat difficult but not too challenging to a point where you a bored. Although the game gets to a point when you reach Moon Pickaxe where the upgrades - refinery, efficiency and storage are consistent and you are just literally spamming upgrades waiting for enough money.
They have a chat tab where you can talk to other players, although no ability to see their level or progression which feels like a missed opportunity, no leaderboards either. There is also no way to exit the game, no button or anything - have to ALT+F4.
All-in-all, I enjoyed the game and found it quite addicting at first, but there is so much possibility with this game but it feels as if the devs totally gave up on this game to build their 3D mining game.

Greetings everyone, A Mining Game as many of you know has been in limbo for some time with updates being non-existent. AMG was released as a free hobby project inspired by the original browser version. which has been very outdated. A Mining Game is something that has a special place in our hearts but we feel as we are limited by the ideas of the old game loop and 2d element. There has been no drive or funding for AMG to stay updated, So as of today we are announcing that we are discontinuing the game. Servers will stay online however and you will still be able to enjoy the current content. The Future With that being said we are passionate about the general Resource gathering element of A Mining Game and Game Development in general so there is some good news we are working on Arcadius: A Mining Game which is a 3d Iteration of AMG it will be Massively Multiplayer with Mining and puzzle aspects.
