Magic Potion Destroyer is a clicker-based escape game where you progress through 30 mansion stages by managing cooldown-based ability buttons to power up your character Claudia using mana reinforcement and magic potions. The experience blends light strategic decision-making with idle mechanics, appealing to players who enjoy incremental progression wrapped in narrative context, though it requires more active engagement than typical idle games.

Forgive me for this, but I'm going to be harsh here.

Magic Potion Destroyer is essentially an idle clicker game. Whilst the lore is plenty interesting and makes you want to continue, that's essentially all there is to it.

It's like if you took Magic Potion Explorer and made fifty levels or something of the same exact damned hundred floor slog. The only difference between the levels is what the starting bonuses/penalties are. And well, a few spoiler-y things but I won't get into that.

I won't go so far as to say the game is lazy, because it isn't. It does however get extremely repetitive extremely fast. All in all, if you like idle games you'll probably enjoy this, but if you're an RPG person steer clear. This is definitely not a $10 game and perhaps not even $5. Grab it if it's ever on sale for less than $3.

As far as I got this consisted of one screen where you click buttons on the bottom as the cool downs expire. I guess there might be skill in which button to push when, but just couldn't get into it.

Magic Potion Destroyer is a much refined version of Magic Potion Explorer, though depending on your perspective the games' style might be too dissimilar for this to be true. Regardless, while Magic Potion Explorer was more of an idle game, Magic Potion Destroyer is more hands-on.

The other review here is pretty spot-on as to why that is, so I'll instead just say this makes Magic Potion Destroyer a much more involved experience - you really need to juggle those stats and know when to end a run, so that you can progress as much as possible in the shortest amount of time possible. It's way too easy to get suckered into reaching Wave 100, and at first it'll be near impossible without spending ungodly amounts of time on a stage, but at the same time each cleared wave gives you one point to spend on drinking potions which raise your stats by a ton.

It's still a somewhat idle game as is par for the series, so you might want to play this one while keeping an eye on the TV or something.
