I won't discuss the early and mid sections of the game, because if you've ever played a lackluster idle game with a boring, repetitive prestige system, then you know what to expect here. I should mention, though, that idling is worthless because one of the active-clicking upgrades you get early on is way, way too effective for the game's own good (assuming you unlock it, since upgrades are made available by completing specific tasks hinted at only vaguely in-game). Also, on the rare occasion I bothered to idle to unlock certain achievements, I would inevitably lose my idle streak at some point by clicking "through" the on-screen upgrade buttons, resulting in a background click being registered and effectively ending my idle streak for 60 seconds. It was nowhere near as annoying as losing an active-clicking streak, but still frustrating.
By far the worst part about this game is the push to gather "Respect," the late-game prestige currency. As far as I can tell, idling is worthless at this point in the game, and even real money won't help you much because you unlock all the Gem upgrades through the process of gaining Respect anyway. What you have to do is spend large amounts of time (actual hours) repeatedly and actively clicking a certain sequence of about 12 on-screen buttons in order to buy generators, then buy upgrades, then repeat until you're ready to prestige, and then loop until you're able to evolve ~10 times in order to finally perform the third level of prestige to gain some Respect. It is a horrifyingly dull, mind-numbing grind, impossible to perform idle and requiring constant input from you, and easily one of the worst experiences I've ever had playing a video game.
Strangely enough, this particularly brutal section of the game is not expedited through real-money purchases, since the gem upgrades are basically handed out to you as you continue gaining Respect, and none of those features do too much to speed up the tedious process of manually prestiging over and over and over again. Somehow, this abomination of an end-game prestige system -- this wall of monotonous, active clicking to repeatedly cycle through the first, second, and then third tiers of prestige over and over again -- is not a cash grab. It easily could (should?) have been a cash grab by offering the player some sort of real money-exclusive auto-prestige feature to automate the end-game Respect grind, but shockingly, no such feature exists. It's just truly, shamelessly, awfully designed.
As it were, I happened to be on standby to help someone recovering from a surgery, and I needed a very mindless activity to keep me vaguely occupied. Guess I found it...
Avoid this game.
