The game looks and feels nice, par the clunky mouse movement (Dev said they would add mouse sensitivity option soon). I had to use a controller to play. However the major downfall for this game is how short it is.. It can be completed in just over 1 hour. Personally speaking, for the price it currently is the game is way too short. (Which is why currently I can't recommend the game sorry) If the price is adjusted to reflect the amount of content, and/or their is enough content added to justify the price then I will update my review accordingly) ------------------------------------------------- Anyhow, down to the actual gameplay. It's a nice cute little gathering / management game. I'm feeling some Age of Empires vibes, mixed with Minecraft and Roblox. - Your villagers do most the work for you though in regards to gathering, etc :) After you get a handful of them. You can gather manually as well (You start off gathering manually) Then as you progress you unlock new areas. Clearing out a small handful of monsters first. Combat mechanics could be better but aren't the worse. Aiming is a little tedious to get used to. First playthrough I ran out of food, I hired too many villagers. They were eating more than I could produce. I had no way to exile or get rid of villagers so I had to restart. Luckily I was only about an hour or less in. Second playthrough I completed the game in 1 hour 15 minutes. Game has basic gathering of Wood, Stone, Ores, Berries, etc.. A few crafting stations (automated) with villagers for leather, metal, potions. Simple upgrade system, simple quest/task system. You can also train some soldiers, archers and mages. They die quite easily, I kited the end area. Once you clear the end area, the game ends. Your only choice to continue is to reload your previous save and not defeat the boss... But to be honest, once you've done that there's nothing left to do anyway. So let's conclude this review; The game is nice - par a few things that need polishing. However; It's way too short for the price. I really think it should be labelled as an early access game with a lower price. No more than £5 in my honest opinion given the little amount of content currently. The dev did say on the discussion forums though that they are adding more. So I'll be sure to keep an eye on this game and update my review accordingly :) I'll be sure to make a video on my YouTube channel soon as well, so stay tuned :D

Soraland is good little game. Developer actively developing it at the time of this review. Currently game has two modes: Main game, let's say "Campaign" mode, and mini games. Campaign mode is a very enjoyable source management simulation. You collect sources to build your little town, fight monsters and overthrow the enemy castles. After you expand enough you go for the enemy castle. I think there will be more castles in the future, menu has different objectives but they are locked at the time being. The game currently it has 3 mini games, a bomberman and a tanks clone (really cannot remember the real names of the games), and lastly a soccer game. Bomberman and tanks games are nice and very playable. Sadly tank battle has only 20 levels and they are very small levels, but still very enjoyable. I played until level 20 and it started to repeat level 20 infinitely, so I gave up after became bored. Bomberman was a little bit more challenging, but if you know bomberman, you know that the main danger is you, holding bombs. It's very possible minigame count may rise in the future. I would recommend this game to people who like city management and tycoon games. Also game is very kid friendly. it's very playable starting from age 5, if they can use controllers or mouse. Kids really enjoy creating their own little village. Afterall total playtime is around 2-4 hours. But a good and enjoyable 4 hours.

Game play is very bland and clearly controller focused, was awkward to play on keyboard and mouse.
