Any Candy is a bare-bones match-3 puzzle game where you swap and combine candies to earn points before time expires. With no levels, progression systems, or meaningful mechanics beyond basic matching, it offers little engagement beyond a single endless round. This is a reskinned asset-flip with minimal original development, aimed at no one in particular.

Warning: Asset Flip!

Any Candy is an asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", freeanygame/hellydevelop/anyfreemore/halloweenreborn/anyfreegame/Awesome Deveelop/freeanywhere (yes, that's how many accounts this guy is using to disguise his identity and mislead gamers), took the Jelly Match 3 tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, Muscle-SS, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work.

It gets worse... "Jelly Match 3" has already been shamelessly dumped on Steam by this guy:

Take a look for yourself... it's exactly the same game!

The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Jelly Match 3" is just a simple Construct/HTML5 mobile app match-3 game template, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so a copy+paste of it can't be recommended.

Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off.

Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers.

Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from freeanygame/hellydevelop/anyfreemore/halloweenreborn/anyfreegame/Awesome Deveelop/freeanywhere.

Warning - Asset Flip!

"Any Candy" is an extremely basic match-3 puzzle game. There are no levels, there's no progression - just one playing field where you match candies until your time runs out and the game just ends.

It's all extremely basic and for good reason - it's an asset flip. The "developer" (hopefully) purchased the asset pack Jelly Match-3 - HTML5 Game, Mobile Version+AdMob!!! (Construct 3 | Construct 2 | Capx) by Muscle-SS, replaced the original tiles with a different (worse) skin and released it on Steam.

This isn't game development. Taking a ready-made template and selling the compiled product for 7 bucks on Steam without any kind of relevant modification is simply an attempt to scam people.

Exactly how lazy this "developer" is becomes apparent if you compare the game's description on Steam with the one on Codecanyon.net:

Jelly Match-3 is a simple match 3 game, tap screen drag and drop the jelly get high score. Made in Construct 2. Enjoy the game!

is the first sentence on both sites which means the "developer" didn't even bother writing a proper description.

It's also not the first time this "developer" releases an asset flip. In fact, all of their "games" are asset flips:

I was not able to find the asset used for the "developer"'s latest outing, Traffic Command, but looking at their history you can safely assume it's also not made by them.

Please do not support scammers like this and do not buy this or any of their games. Thank you!
