This plays exactly as its predecessor does. You have 9 unique locations with lots of cats to find. Because the images are overwhelmed by the kitties in case you are missing one or two you just have to scroll over to the area where you have everything black and white (or different - basic - coloration). In this sense this series is pretty easy - fun and relaxing, nevertheless.
This is the advantage and also the disadvantage of the sequel: it provides the exact same fun but has nothing new in store. Now, the overall number of cats are around 700 (one achievement wants you to find 1,000, actually) but the number is a tad bit misleading. Once all levels have been completed you can start afresh with newly-positioned cats on every level. This is great as it increases replayability. Personally, I would have enjoyed more (unique) drawings.
Just a short review to give kudos to the developer. Another enjoyable cat search by EverCats with some nice art. Just like the original, when you re-play a scene it will have a few different cats to mix it up. Can't mention enough my appreciation for the lovely colorful backdrops in EverCats games. So much nicer than the blinding white in other 'find it' games.
Only down side for me is the achievements share the same picture. When the metric is met to lift restrictions, it would be nice to have many cats for profile showcase customizations. Perhaps it will happen for #3!
Upgraded the core code to fix an issue with revalidating Steam achievements at startup. If this version breaks for you, let us know. We have also left the previous version available in the Betas in case you find it to be more stable on your system. The branch name is 2.1.3 - Older release.
