A super cute and addictive idle little game, in which the goal is to raise little bees and form hives to sell honey in exchange for upgrades, more bees, and more beehives!! the coolest part is that there are many different types of bees, each one with a creative skin.. there’s even a wolf bee, marshmallow bee, mage bee, ninja bee. and besides them already being different, you can still buy cosmetics for them, including a variety of hats to customize each little bee in whatever way you like the most!!

Even though I knew exactly what I was signing up for, I was still disappointed here. This game has very bad quality of life, and some baffling UI decisions. Some things are strangely laggy for no good reason. Your passive income only updates the counter once a minute or so (seriously?). The rosters of your hives and bees are awful to menu through with oddly placed buttons and getting stuck on empty pages that shouldn't even be present. Feeding is laborious with strange hitboxes on the food and bee behavior ensuring your babies will slowly fly circles around the food and waste time. The balancing of the game means the optimal way to play is to sit there opening packs (slow and bad, why does discarding take forever?), feeding (bad), and selling (annoying) until you can afford the next hive, for a dozen hours on end, with no variation. The bee designs are strangely uninspired and arbitrary (at least chillquarium has real fish). There is no good incentive to play this game at the best of times, but once you've seen all the bees, there's really absolutely nothing there at all.

🍯 Time Is Honey Review 🐝

This cozy and adorable game features calming music in the background that perfectly sets the mood. I had a great time collecting all the cute little bees—there are so many I loved, but the Kiwi Bee stole my heart for obvious reasons. From common to legendary bees, and even a bonus golden bee in each category, the variety is delightful. The art style is incredibly charming and fits the game perfectly.

You can actively play the game, but you'll likely find yourself playing it mostly in idle mode, as that's its intended design. I loved all the bee designs, and the space bees are my absolute favourite theme. Not only can you collect bees, but you can also put silly hats on them! Decorating your beehives is another fantastic touch. You can add stickers to your hive, change its colour, and even customise the sand colour. Little details, like being able to change the bees' food theme, add so much charm.

I do wish there were more stickers for decorating, but there's still a good selection for now!

Time is Honey v1.6 Patch Notes and The Flower Update New Content The old upgrade system has been removed and replaced with a new Flower Pot & Flower system. Flowers give different effects like boosting honey, XP, or chances of opening a golden bee in a pack... Pots multiply the effects of planted flowers in different ways. When you load your old save, all honey spent on previous upgrades will be refunded so you can reinvest into flowers. Improvements Hive backgrounds are now slightly blurred for a nicer sense of depth and perspective. Shop items are now sorted by price (low -> high). Added a purchase confirmation dialog in the shop to prevent accidental buys. After editing a sticker, the game now automatically reopens the shop so you can quickly buy more. Added a small info box that shows your hive’s current honey per hour. Added a new shader to the cards. Next button in the tutorial has been moved from left to the right. In the “Found Accessories” screen, hovering an accessory now shows which packs it can be found in. Game now creates a backup of your save every time you load the game (stored in the save/backup folder). Bug Fixes Fixed: Korean, Chinese, and Japanese fonts sometimes not rendering. Fixed: Idle bees not always gaining XP correctly. Fixed: Clicking a sticker now properly highlights it. Fixed: Bought stickers not appearing on top of older ones. Time is Honey v1.4 Patch Notes Bug Fixes Fixed: Stickers placed at the bottom of your hive can now be moved properly! Improved: Holding the sell button while opening bee packs now takes less time! Fixed: The "Medieval Hive" was incorrectly labeled as "Medieval Pack" in the hives shop. Fixed: Two missing accessories have been restored! You can now get the Heart Cloud (from the Cute Accessory Pack) and the Egg Hat (from the Funny Accessory Pack) as intended. Changed: The "Open 10,000 Packs" achievement requirement has been reduced to 3,000 packs! Fixed: Opening presents from bees no longer gives more card packs than intended. Fixed: When opening a Present Bee Pack with more than 27 bees in your hive (out of 30 max), bees in the pack will no longer overwrite your existing bees.
