Super Burger Clicker

This is a great clicker game, I like the realtime global rank display! The number reduces back to nothing if you spend your balance on upgrades, so you see progress instantly but it will fluctuate a lot. There are tons of people on the leaderboard so I assume we are competing against the existing iOS userbase which is a nice integration. It's one of the primary numbers on the display so it should be exciting to see how high you can possibly climb, you can see on the store's screenshots they were around ~12,000th position there.

The interface, powerups, overall game design is really nice and I am so glad he ported this over to Steam for us to have here. It's not perfect though, as it does not seem to run in the background so it has to be the focused window to run. I hope he can get that fixed and also there is an intro video with jazz music that you can't skip, you can't mute the sound on, and you can't look at any other window because the animation waits for you if the game is not focused.

Needs achievements and the game to have running in background working but it is a good pickup on sale, the game is really nicely put together in general.

Its cute... But its just not a good game. It is remarkably reminiscent of veeeeery old flash idle games where people had no idea what kind of balance constitutes "fun". Once I gave up on the game I was upset about wasting my time. Then suddenly realized I could refund the game and everything was ok again.
