Street of Secrets offers a meditative hidden object experience across five distinct houses, each containing around 100 items to uncover using a pen-and-ink art style. The game provides three hints per house and features atmospheric music designed for relaxed play, making it ideal for players seeking a low-stress puzzle activity without time pressure or complex mechanics.

Wer Kekse dazu mag...

Hello, my dears! A really well done hidden objects game with houses each containing one hundred objects. As a little help, there are also three tips in each house. The pen and ink style design is appropriate and the objects are well hidden. The music fits and relaxes. So grab it (preferably in the sale) and start unhiding ;). The good thing is, after some time you can reset the game and start having fun again.

In my opinion there is nothing wrong with this game, it is the first of these developers. Glasses up to the following games!

Coconut Clouds

Ingredients

1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
1 teaspoon coconut extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup sour cream
2-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut, toasted
BROWNED BUTTER FROSTING:
1/3 cup butter, cubed
3 cups confectioners' sugar
3 tablespoons evaporated milk
1 teaspoon coconut extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups sweetened shredded coconut, toasted

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°. Cream butter, shortening and sugars until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes; beat in eggs and extracts. Stir in sour cream. In another bowl, whisk together flour, salt and baking soda; gradually beat into creamed mixture. Stir in coconut.
Drop dough by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake until set, 8-10 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
For the frosting, in a small heavy saucepan, heat butter over medium heat until golden brown, 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly. Transfer to a small bowl; gradually beat in confectioners’ sugar, milk and extracts. Spread over cookies. Dip in coconut; let stand until set. Store in an airtight container.

VERY COOL!

I love it when developers tweak a game by adding different features to make it their own. Unlike a recent series I just finished playing where a developer literally plagiarized every single feature all the way down to the logo font, this game has unique features that set it apart from similar games.

There are 5 Houses on the Street of Secrets, and each house has a different object to search for. In the first house, you must find 100 Ghosts. The second house has 100 Smoking Pipes (very well-blended at that!). The third house has 100 Jack-O-Lanterns. The fourth house has 100 Compasses, and the fifth house has 100 Feathers, which is really challenging because it is in Night Mode. All five houses also have a theme-related Magazine hidden somewhere in the house.

What I loved the most was that each room had several doors that led into other rooms to search. Some houses had quite a few doors, which was difficult to keep track of at times..but it was super fun! The larger rooms had left/right scrolling arrows, but even though the scenes couldn't be scrolled to enlarge, I felt that the objects were easy enough to spot without eye strain. The music and the graphics gave each house a cool individual vibe, and I especially liked the fifth house's theme and music.

There are three hints per house. (Magnifying Glass on top left corner) If the current room doesn't have any object remaining, nothing happens, so you just move to another room until the hint pinpoints a missed object.

My only complaint is that I would have liked to have an object counter for each individual room. There is a countdown icon, but that number includes the house as a whole and not each individual room which would have been helpful to know.

A good Hidden Object game to play on Halloween nights! You get to find and collect five different items from five different houses in "your" neighbourhood. Wish the posters did something special. Like a sixth house with a new kind of difficulty. But that's just my take.

PROS:
- Eerie music;
- Nice graphics;
- Up to 500 items to collect;
- Up to 5 posters to collect;
- Up to 5 different house with rooms of their owns;
- Easy to difficult modes;
- Easy to difficult to obtain achievements.

CONS:
- Wish that the posters did something, like a sixth house with a darker setting or a mouse-flashlight where the player has to light their way to find objects;
- Nothing else.

Put your bag of candies near, have a hot choco and immerse yourself in this Hidden Object game which I am sure you're going to like it!
