Where Cats is a hidden object game tasking you with locating 100 cats scattered across hand-drawn scenes rendered in black and white. Each cat you find unlocks an achievement, while the colored cats pop against the grayscale background—a visual contrast you can adjust for accessibility. It's a brief, low-pressure puzzle designed for casual players seeking a relaxing 15 minutes to an hour without time pressure or complexity.

Another HOG but this time from a Chinese developer. This appears to be the 2nd instalment as in the first game we were looking for elves and snowmen.
The concept is the usual: look for 100 hidden cats (each granting you an achievement) on a background that is black and white and only the cats provide colour. The colour which you can change if you wish to do so at any time. Once you succeed your reward will be an animation I decided to label "cat fireworks".
The drawing is nice but I noticed a little pixelation when fully zoomed in. Otherwise this is a decent (and very cheap) HOG whose title is not exactly a good translation (it should correctly read as "Where is the cat?"). Also, the hint option is missing so you might have a bit of a challenge when it comes to finding the last couple of our feline friends.
Where Cats 猫咪在哪里 is a minimalist HOG with cute drawings and relaxing music. It's good for what it is: a relaxing 15 minutes to an hour of playtime (depending on your own speed) with one or two unique features. Recommended, especially for the very low price tag.
Disclaimer: I don't get compensated for any reviews I write. This is my honest opinion of the game.

Gameplay
The game consists of a single screen that fits the whole scene.
You're fully zoomed out by default. You can zoom in two times, which is comfortable enough to find all the cats - almost.
A relaxing music track plays away as you search for the little meow meows!
Some of the cats look derpy or stoned! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3106927529
Graphics and audio
Cute drawings.
While the accompanying music track is truly a beautiful melody, it doesn't fit the scene.
Let me explain. I launched the game but had it minimized while I was answering an email in my open browser.
Meanwhile the game was playing this lovely Celtic, Irish or even Viking-sounding melody from the Middle Ages or from older times. It's upbeat and endearing!
I thought to myself, Hmmm, the visuals must correspond to this sweet tune!
I finish my email, close the browser and Alt-Tab to the game. To my surprise, the visual theme is ancient Egyptian? IMHO the Ancient Egyptian aesthetics don't mesh with Celtic/Irish/Viking tunes in my lizard brain but yeah.
I must say, I do see why the developer would choose as the visual theme an ancient culture that revered cats so much and treated them with dignity and the utmost respect. Thumbs up for putting thought into this.
Pros
Relaxing time-killer.
Unique feature: You can change the color of all the cats while playing by simply clicking once on the cat icon in the little box at the bottom of the screen.
There are 8 different colors to choose from and switch to. It's nice being able to change the whole scene on the fly like that.
True to its minimalist nature, the game says much in so little. https://steamcommunity.com/id/VolcanicPM/screenshot/2278321774738379210/
Cons
The cats don't make any sound when you click on them. This takes away from the interactivity feel.
Even when fully zoomed in, a few cats are so tiny that it's difficult to make them out. Case in point: check this one at the tippy top, above the hand. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3106729088
Bug: With only 2 cats unrevealed, the Hints feature still wasn't made available for some reason. https://steamcommunity.com/id/VolcanicPM/screenshot/2278321774737406948/
Unbelievable! xD As soon as I finished typing my bug comment, the icon for the Hint appeared! What sorcery is this! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3106730636
Quality of Life Suggestions
Add a different wording for each achievement. Seeing the same thing over and over for a hundred times isn't appealing and screams LAZY!: 1 - ... - 100 Where Cats
This is 'Merica! kinda Gimme some 'Merican-sounding cheevs like Where Cats 2: We're bringing 'democracy' to a location near you! Ya know?
Separate the Hints feature from the change-cats-color option.
