Tired of cats? Then start looking for capybaras! A capybara is a rodent native to South America. In some languages they are referred to as water pigs. They are often shown with oranges together. They are a must for them to meet their nutritional needs so they are interested in eating different types of citrus fruits available.

This game utilises this (dietary) characteristic the animals have. Each capybara we find has an orange on top of their head or close by. Sometimes the rodent we are looking for is well-hidden but if there is an orange nearby we can assume its owner is right there. To make things a bit more difficult levels have a lot of round objects but the textures of oranges are slightly different so that's a telltale sign.

Overall, there are 4 levels but 2 we are already familiar with; the second set is just the nighttime version of their original ones. Now, just because a capybara has a distinctive colour dark still means dark here so the creators decided to add a light source next to each creature. Once they are found this activates. Sometimes we see a lamp at other times it's an entire room that gets lit. A great way to tell us how much progress we have made so far. Oh, and just to be reminded that capybaras are not here to dethrone cats in this genre, every level has a few hidden cats, too.

I really enjoyed this seek & find game about searching for adorable capybaras by Tangent Universes. I love capi's and they never get enough love in the gaming space compared to cats. But they are just as adorable!

I play a lot of seek & find games and this one follows the standard in all but one way and that is the night scenes. The night scenes are gorgeous and magical. I loved how they lit up the scene as you found the capi's. Really well done. You can see from the screen capture previews on the store page how beautiful they look. They are even more stunning at full screen. Also some of the those capi's are pretty well hidden too!

A great little game for a great price. Quick, mindless fun that is for everyone. I had no crashes or bugs. A fun and cute experience. 💖

Very cute capybaras. Some were so well hidden that even with the hint, it was a challenge finding them. The night levels were a delight to play with the capybaras beautifully lit up. Cozy and relaxing game to play!

Hey, capybara seekers! In this update, we've doubled the resolution of all hidden capybaras, cats, lights, as well as the background and menu elements. What's more, many capybaras have been redrawn and enriched with new details (their faces are now more visible!). Additionally, the lights now feature new colors and styles. We hope you’ll enjoy the refreshed look of the capybaras! But that's not all! The game now includes features introduced in later Hidden Capybaras with Orange games, such as keyboard camera controls, time display after completing a level, improved controls on Steam Deck, and cloud saves. As always, we look forward to your feedback! Full changelog: - Increased the resolution and quality of all capybaras, cats, background, and lights. - Doubled the resolution of user interface elements. - Improved the quality of visual effects when clicking on a capybara and upon finding all capybaras. - Added a timer displaying the time after completing a level. - Added camera control using WSAD on the keyboard. - Improved controls on Steam Deck. - Added support for Steam Cloud Save. - Various minor fixes. And finally, a small announcement: We designed Hidden Capybaras with Orange to have no in-game text, making it accessible to all players regardless of the languages they speak.
