My review is more in the middle rather than strictly positive or negative, but I can only give a thumbs up or thumbs down. I found it strange having to accept a EULA and then allowing changes to my PC (which I said no to and the game still ran anyway) but overall it was a neat little hidden object style point and click game. I like that it had a dark theme instead of the eye-searing white backgrounds most use, although that's still an option if you want to turn it on (and you get an achievement for it!) This game doesn't offer hints which may be frustrating for some, especially if you're down to the last few you're struggling to find like I was. It also takes some liberties with what counts as a doomer so it's worth clicking on different things. I've seen others complain about the fact that you have to purchase the DLC in order to get the other half of the achievements, which personally I also dislike. It's a pet peeve of mine when total/base achievements are locked behind a paywall. I also don't like that the menu buttons aren't clear on what they do so you're not sure what you're clicking on. One of the specifically egregious parts about this is that if you happen to click on the button that requires the DLC it opens a new tab that instantly adds it to your cart. All these odd features add up and become a little concerning.
Find 101 Doomers

I have mixed feelings towards 101 Doomers. This sounds like a bad joke/meme turned into a game. It's weird having to find both human and non-human animals and objects that has a face or smoking some joint. The drawings aren't very neat, and looks more like a highschool computer game project, made by a depressed and edgy student who has then uploaded here. Also, if you're an achievement Hunter like I am, you won't be able to get %100 without buying the DLC. This game is already questionable as it is as a free HOG. Overall, 101 Doomers is one of my least favourite HOGs.
CERTAINLY FILLED WITH DOOM & GLOOM
Normally, I'm a huge fan of these simplistic black-and-white hidden object games, and I feel terrible when I give a game a thumbs-down rating, but this game has absolutely nothing appealing to offer! It's hard to bash a game titled Find 101 Doomers for depicting doom and gloom, so I will just focus on the artwork...which ain't that great. It's very basic, with mostly buildings drawn with straight lines, so the only way to "hide" Doomers is by making them small or unrecognizable. At first, it appears you are looking for people wearing a beanie and smoking cigarettes. Then you realize other elements are considered to be Doomers as well, such as birds, clouds, and even cars, who appear to be addicted to cigarettes as well. I did like the fact that you can switch to a day mode versus the black, night mode; in fact, one of the achievements is to switch to the light mode. Speaking of Achievements, there are only 12 Achievements to earn out of 23 because the remaining 11 achievements pertain to Level 2, which isn't included in this game! This is nothing more than an attempt by the developer to force people to buy the DLC just so they can earn all their achievements! This is a poor business practice by White Box games! Are the developers simply trying to relay a No Smoking message by depicting those who smoke as Doomers/Losers? If so, that seems like a harsh, cruel way to get a Quit Smoking message across to those who suffer from an addiction, doesn't it? Maybe I'm reading between the invisible lines too much...but then again, they ARE called Doomers, and they ARE all smoking cigarettes (or maybe even weed), and compared to a vehicle's exhaust and even an industrial smokestack spewing out air pollution. Maybe I'm wrong; what do you think?
