'Always Forward' is a very short tap-and-jump game that comes with a few personal critiques, showcasing one-dimensional gameplay, a prototype art style, and a personal narrative element. This brief game can be completed in approximately 3 minutes and lacks any achievements. It offers a single ending and regrettably lacks a save feature, meaning players can't restart or resume from where they left off. However, given its brevity, this might not pose a significant issue. With minimal gameplay and a clear narrative focus, I would rate its difficulty at 1/10. Despite its simple tap-and-jump mechanics, 'Always Forward' still manages to provide an unexpectedly enjoyable experience, thanks in part to its prototype art style reminiscent of classic arcade games. This aesthetic enhances the overall nostalgic ambiance of the game. Furthermore, this free game injects a unique personal touch that distinguishes it from others in its genre. By incorporating questions related to the gaming industry, the developer prompts players to contemplate broader themes. This personal element adds depth and emotional resonance to the experience, elevating it beyond a mere tapping game. Taking everything into account, 'Always Forward' is a straightforward game with a poignant message that I would recommend to casual players looking to try something new or engage in thoughtful playthroughs. To switch the language to English, since the menu initially appears in Chinese, you'll need to press the second button and then select the option labeled "English." Best of luck! P.P.S. 'Always Forward', never give up.

Easy game to learn the speedrunning strats for. My only complaint is that its impossible to fully read the text, since it goes away too fast. I got enough to understand though, good luck with your game development journey. To play in English, press the second button on the main menu then choose the option that says English.
