"修仙小屋" is a weird Chinese language online multiplayer text adventure game (that seems to have a bit of undisclosed internal monetisation, if true this is unacceptable). I guess first up this doesn't really qualify as a video game, and shouldn't be pushed as one here on Steam. We know the basic axiom... if Chrome and Firefox can do it, it shouldn't be pushed as a game on Steam. My gaming rig is not here to compete with Safari. There's a lot of drama here and the somewhat serious accusation from other reviewers that the game moderators are corrupt and, if you write a negative review for the game, you'll be punished or banned from the game. That would explain the sheer number of rather soulless "positive" reviews. However, those are just allegations, and I cannot confirm or deny their accuracy. However, controversy around a game is a factor that I think gamers should be aware of when considering whether to download a game. Understandably, most gamers aren't interested in drama and politics that surround a game... and especially not such a low quality text chat interface pretending to be one As mentioned this is just a text chat interface... PC gaming is a highly visual medium. On that basis alone, this fails the most basic and most critical evaluation for any video game. This is "free" enough, at least you won't necessarily be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
