Find Cats 3 keeps the charm and cleverness going, but this trip’s a little bumpier than the last. The highlight? The paintings. Seriously—those cat-filled artworks are not only beautifully done but pack some of the smartest feline hiding spots in the game. I still love how the series plays with shadows (black cats in black gaps), but this time, it’s used more sparingly, which is a bit of a letdown when it’s one of the franchise’s best tricks.
The hints recharge, which is nice, but you’ll have to choose between using them or getting all the achievements—yep, it’s one or the other. Zoom isn’t great either; the image looks nice as a whole, but good luck spotting those tinier cats without squinting like a detective who’s lost their magnifying glass. And when it comes to finding cats inside buildings or objects, it’s less “Aha!” and more “Click everywhere and pray.”
It’s still worth a look for fans of the series, especially for the art and those clever canvas puzzles. Just don’t expect the same level of visual trickery or polish as previous entries. Bring your patience and maybe a guide if you're chasing that 100%.
